    Great guide, I'm just getting into LDP and I have a question regarding your foot placement during the push. Does your shoes contact heel side first to the ground ? Or the toe side? Which way is more energy efficient for LDP?

      With a slow push, the heel hits the ground. When I'm accelerating, the forefoot touches the ground.

      Thanks for the reply, I have one more question regarding breathing during the long ride sessions. Do you exhale on every push? Is there a rythm on breathing that you use during pushing and pumping?
