A simple Pinterest search for "butterfly orbs" turned up a lot of interesting designs. Most of which were metal wire shaped into loose orbs or balls and then all the butterflies (which appear to be made of fabric as opposed to paper) were attached on the outside. So take some crafted wire from the dollar/craft store, start of with a small ball, loosely wrapping until it's the size you want and attach your beautiful butterflies. Have fun being creative!
Hi! So pretty! I'm awaiting my very first order of Derwent Inktense- can't wait to ge them. I am wanting to make 3D butterfly ORBS- any idea how to do those? I suppose a bend is in order, but I'm not sure how to make them or what to make them with. Would appreciate any help you can offer! P.S. Thanks for the drawing lesson on top of it, too!!! L.
