    I’ve been using the bike for several weeks at the junkyard now and it’s been so nice being able to ride around instead of spending an hour a day walking. No issues with the bike at all.

    I’ve had one of those bikes for 4 years at the beach house. No problems and every guest tries it out! All have loved it. Great little bike.

    Looks convenient. My son loves these things. For a little bit of walking I do, I can use the exercise. But there have been a number of times I've thought about bike like this when we are traveling. Trails just exploring about town and things like that.

    we have a place by us about 1/2 mile from my house called swan lake it was a dried up puddle like that until 2 and 3 years ago we had two 100 yr floods back to back it overflowed into ranches and homes. Now it has dried up a little but it has a pier you can walk on all the way into the middle of the lake. Its a wild life habitat sanctuary now.

    i love my Ebike, built it myself with a engine kit. big battery, i can make it do 45mph pretty easy but generally pedal around 24-28mph and i can do easily 50-80 miles depending on how much i pedal

    • @ShouldaWaved
      @ShouldaWaved 7 месяцев назад

      What is your setup? How much it cost

    • @AlteredCarbons
      @AlteredCarbons 7 месяцев назад

      @@ShouldaWaved it cost way to damn much lol. its a bafang 1000w mid drive with a 52v 20ah battery and a custom cnc sprocket cause i needed my chain pushed back more towards the frame (i used a gravel bike, dont use a gravel bike) over all it was like $1400 after taxes and another 50 for the sprocket. it was worth it, but i again, used a gravel bike, i switched it to a mountain bike and didn't need the custom sprocket.

    Might be a good time for some metal detecting around that dock. We lost our keys to everything at a fishing dock to my husband being a clown. We used to camp near Breckenridge TX and take our small boats down the river to our campsite. It was always a great time and we fished and hated when it was time to go home. We were definitely river rats. Best part of it is we have video of our trips on VHS. 😂

    Thanks Silas, ou had a cracking time foraging!! (I would have eaten those eggs!), you know a lot about what's good to eat in the woods, all I see is a bunch of firewood! but I have eaten inkcaps, never knew about the alcohol thing! (but I don't drink much so didn't get sick). The electric bike was good, its not the most advanced model, but all the parts are pretty dependable, i've done 900 miles so far on the same brand of motor with no problems.

    Many hard core campers will take there eggs out of the shells before going camping you might have been able to keep those eggs cold for the night and just fish the shells out....
    Your next fish cooking video you should do a comparison of that fish batter and the Googan stuff have a feeling yours will be a little less biased of an opinion

    🇨🇦 Great bike review Silas. I have two questions about the bike. Can you charge the battery when it’s off of the bike ? Example take the battery into your house or hotel to charge. Can you ride the bike without any battery assistance ? Example your battery is empty and you haven’t made it back to your destination.

    • @moreadventuresmadefromscratch
      @moreadventuresmadefromscratch  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes and yes. I charge it by leaving the bike in the shop and taking the battery home to charge. And it’s not light, but you can pedal it without the battery or if it dies.

    Do you think the lake was drained down to kill the unwanted weeds etc ? . Here in Florida they drain down lakes all the time to reduce weed growth !

    • @moreadventuresmadefromscratch
      @moreadventuresmadefromscratch  7 месяцев назад +2

      No, the reservoir is used for drinking water, so it is being drained by the people that live in the area to survive. We just haven’t had enough rain to keep it filled up
