It's a pretty straight forward rock ballad musically, but very melancholic, but lyrically and the way Vessel delivers those devasting lyrics cuts very deep. I think a lot of people resonate with this song and the super heavy lyrics behind it. It's a pretty rough time for me in my life, and I couldn't listen to this more than I wanted to. That said, we need more songs like these. The message it sends, the weight that it lifts off people's shoulders. I wish to reach a point in my life where I'm comfortable listening to this and say, yeah I'm doing well. And I hope you guys do too.
As you have said it is important to have these kind of songs out there, I just wanted to add the importance of also having people share in that vulnerability/emotion in response to it. It is something that resonates with a lot of people for many different reasons, and I wanted to thank you for doing that here, people often feel so alone and helpless in these kinds of circumstances yet they are shared by so many. I truly hope you are in a better place than at the time of filming, or moving towards it. As you say there are a lot of us out here that this song resonates with, and it may be hard to know when people truly care in life, but know that every single one of us that this song hits cares for you and each other.
