- Hello everyone! Welcome or welcome back to my channel. In this video we're doing an unboxing of NEW Hoyas!!!! I ordered 3 new Hoyas off of Etsy from the seller, HoyaTreasures. We'll unbox the plants and then take them down into the grow tent.
I'll show you my new grid system in the grow tent for my Hoyas. And we'll look at a few other things too like Philodendrons and African Violets.

Hi, Tina!!!! The elliptica is looking soooo good on the grid. So happy to have it!!!! I am pinching myself...everyday I step foot in there...it feels like a dream...just love having it so much. My little/big jungle oasis LOL.

Our cat always wants to be involved too. The grid is a great idea. You can grow a lot of plants on that!
They can be so needy lol.
I know!!! My plan is to let them go wild and just take some snips here and there for propagations. Can’t wait for it to really fill in!!!! 😊

LOL My little Miss Curly kitty is in my lap and she was upset about Nicki's cries. Great new additions to your collection. Hum that seler is in Utah also neighboring me. About 8 hours away depending on where they are in Utah. I moved my sindaptus to my master bath and they too are looking so much better than any other place I have had them in my home. Love your huge new grow tent.

@@ThePinkTrellis I worked the thrift store Thurs and Fri then had to make a fast shipping run to pick up food sale items . the rads were dry and sunny instead of the awful thick fog we have been having here. And friends came to pick up a recliner I had for them and he had never been to the house. So I felt the need to try to clean it up some.
So YES today has been a rest kind of day for me. Friends brought me a broken GORGEOUS stained glass table lamp they picked up at a yard sale for a buck. And of course I just had to see if I cold fix it. I could not fix the broken glass pieces but nothing missing so I repaired the top and reattached the umbrella to the base and cleaned the whole thing. t will take at least 24 hours for the glue to set on the base. Not sure if they want it back but if they do that is fine it was a fun little project. I will IG you a photo.

I haven’t done much today, just enjoying some Christmas music and watching my birds and squirrels. The feeders have been busy today since it cooled down about 20 degrees from what it has been. And now super windy today too.
Oh I did make a video today too for Wednesday. So not a complete day of rest for me, but pretty close 😊. Now off to IG to see 🥰.

Hi Paul!!! It just suddenly started looking really good. This new tent doesn’t get as warm as the other one so I think it might be the balance between humidity and temperature that is doing wonders for it. Or maybe it’s just finally settling in. Hopefully yours will start doing something soon. Mine took forever lol.

I got 2 Hoyas from hoya treasures and they never even acted like they knew they were in the mail...and still haven't. My mathilde just started growing like crazy and the obovata is still green, has lost no leaves but hasn't grown any new leaves yet

I discovered my Hoya=s have flat mites. I never knew what to look for. My question is..do they ever grow again after being treated. I used sulfur treatment. Help... Love the snakeskin. Merry Christmas Eve.
Yes! My understanding is that the sulfur treatment actually makes them grow. People who have had flat mites and non-growing plants have reported that those plants have finally started growing after treatment. Thank you!!! Merry Christmas 💚❤️💚❤️
Your begonias are so beautiful how do you get them that way?
Thank you!!! My best looking begonia are in high humidity environments. So either a cabinet, terrarium or grow tent. High humidity is the key for sure 😊. Also never letting them dry out too much I have found helps keep away the leaf dropping.

@@Horsewoman-pt2ku oh maybe the griffithii splash? I received that one previously and showed it in another video, that’s why I didn’t get a closeup this time. It hasn’t changed at all from the last time. But I’ll be sure to show it next time we’re in the grow tent 😊.
