    Very True, In India we can happily manage a family with once monthly salary of 25K, 50K & 100K. But in Canada we need a minimum of 6K after tax per month to run a decent family living ( Rent in Missisauage of 1BHK is 2600+ 600 grocery+ Car 600+ other expense 800+ parent expense in India 1000 ) having all those expense in Canada, every month I used to say Chrandramuki Prabhu dialogue - enna koduma idhu

Good savings, relatives, festivals, cost of living and small small vacations etc.. everything was good except the pollution, politics, high fee in the school. But here we are getting good environment, work life balance end of the day there is no savings and always have the fear even to go to malls due to the recent gun shoots. I am in Singapore bro.. Here too very bad situation.. Getting a job and finally coming to Singapore itself is a challenging process. After getting a job, and living here is more difficult, tedious and tired one.. Finding flats, getting into rental agreements, govt. devises rules only for the benefit of locals, no PR status for Indians even after 15 years for most, high cost, no jobs for dependents pass holders, no admissions in local schools and lots of other untold stories go on and on.. Now, in India itself there is very good pay by many companies.. If anyone reading this and who is looking job abroad, I have only one thing to say.. We will feel a lot richer and live luxurious life in India, but if you come abroad you will feel very much poorer.. I have already got a job back home in India and will return in 2 months.. Much needed advice for the next set of newcomers aspiring for life in Canada. Thank you, Praveen, for this video. The current situation is quite grim, no doubt about that.
    My two cents on this are that people, regardless of your entry point to Canada, if you are a student or experienced professional coming in with a PR or WP, you need to do your research on the cities and provinces on offer. What are the industries and market each Province has to offer and select accordingly. I find many people especially students take courses or programs that has no relevance in the province / city of the delivery and are then struggling to find a job in their domain.
    Another thing is expectations. When you are doing your research, it needs to be extensive and covering all aspects of life for the next 5-10 years. Because you are making a decision to uproot yourself and your family and move to a completely new country. Not many understand the transition and think it's easy and think they can wing it after coming here. Moving to any country in the world is a huge decision and needs careful planning.
    What I would suggest to people who have the means is to make a trip to Canada for few weeks to get a feeling of the country. If you have obtained a PR then this is called as soft-landing, and this experience would be immensely valuable as you can make better informed decisions. As a student, I understand this would be difficult, but making a 2-3-year plan would be better. What I mean is, if you just got the idea of coming here, go out on social media and ask students, professionals who have migrated in the last 5 years and ask questions. Keep yourself informed of everything that is happening now and that could happen once you land.
    We all hope the housing and healthcare situation gets better soon, but we can only pray for the time being. As Praveen rightly said, the benefits of getting a Canadian Citizenship outweigh the negatives, and in the long run your life and your family's life is definitely much better.
    Understand the environment, compare it with your expectations and make a long-term plan. Once you have decided, don't regret and keep pushing forward, the outcomes will be greater!!!
    Thanks for coming to my TED talk :)

For survival jobs it’s quite easy to find, based on the location where you are. For domain jobs it’s quite hard to find. If you have Canadian work experience then it wouldn’t that hard to find. Very well articulated praveen.
    one more thing to add to the list of reasons to not come to Canada is the education n schools are deteriorating in the quality of education they provide. I feel the schools in India are doing a much Better job, I know that parents pay for school in India but still you are sure enough that your kid is getting a good quality education. More over year on year many provinces r cutting the budget for education. So schools are underfunded which means more student per teacher n lack of personal attention to students. So the burden of kids education comes down to the parents. We as parents and the student themselves have to do their research and learn all the things needed for their future. In Canada there is no set syllabus for each grade, so whatever the teaches teaches is all. This is not problematic during the 1st few years of educating till 7th, once the kids go to high school n they have to go into replied universities either in Canada or outside Canada, they have to really double up their speed and learn a lot at once.
    I also completely agree with the LGBTQ+ agenda being forced into students minds, wen they r so naive n innocent. I think these things r suitable to be consumed wen they have a more matured mindset.

    Very well said about current scenerio in Canada. Its very disappointing to see every aspect here, for example housing, interest rates, job market, schooling, health care, inflation, price gouging, violence, drug usage, LGBTQIA support. Racism is currently not from Canadians but from fellow Indians. It is very hard to see people struggling for basic essentials and crying for housing. Hopefully things will get better soon.

    Hi Praveen,
    Once immigrant becomes Canadian citizen,these issue will be vanished. If they are expert in their area of IT domain/IT field, there are plenty of remote, local job opportunities in Canada,US to work as independent consultant, in IT company, end user companies. Real estate and getting family doctor, they are no such issues in Alberta.

    • @indianmilitary
      @indianmilitary Год назад +1

      Canadian citizen does not mean low inflation and interest rate. Everyone must go through it. By 2025, there will be capital trimming and enforcement of communist digital currency due to impending -de-dollarization in the US which can also devalue CAD. Expect 1 CAD = 2 INR by 2029.

    I have been languishing in this godforsaken Canada since 2000. Did not migrate, but came as Expat...and got stuck. Lost my civilization, roots, faith, my larger family, friends, weather, town (Coimbatore), food and EVERYTHING one never appreciates until its gone. Every additional day here made it more difficult to be able to return. As family grows, it will become impossible. zero wealth accumulation. You will always be treated as a foreigner (who cares) and discriminated. Our children can call themselves Canadian, but will be marginalized (thanks to their indian looks). My sincere advise, please come to Canada ONLY if you have several reasons to love this place. DO NOT come ...just because you dislike our Country. Most of the good stuff that one thinks about Canada from far away (Education, Medical, Safety....blah blah) is just mediocre. You will pay back 57% of your earnings, one way or other. Its 7 months of dark and cold weather. Economy is terrible....will take a decade to even get to 5% growth. Beware.
