@@shoehealer8853 I really like those Cuba Henry waxy ones, unique look, I've got tan Henry, 25 plus years old, great patina, leather heeled and soles, this morning I used the Saphir renovating conditioner on them, it slightly darkens them, and my blue suede Henry came from the factory shop late last year at half price. Absolutely love them. Crockett and Jones and Trickers are the best a man can get in that price range.
Hello shoe healer, been a long time subscriber, and I really enjoy your contents may i ask some of your knowledge about shoes? As most people say Trickers and Crockett and Jones are far superior to Loakes or barker shoes (given their best lines) For sure you have seen the components of each brands, from insole, cork, midsole, outsole, welt, stitching, lining and Uppers, Do you see significant or major differences that is the most important reason for a big price gap? Or are there only very minimal differences? (for sure there is) Or mainly quality control? That sets them apart? Or are we just paying for the C&J trickers name? Thanks for reading this!!
Hello, You have inspired me to do a video on this , so keep an eye out for it !! But to answer your question quickly, the top manufacturers use the best quality components, eg full leather heel stacks best leather linings, best leather insoles great upper leathers, The best eyelets ( not cheap ones from china) and then the best craftsmen who have usually been with them for years, this is why these top brands last so much longer.
This video inspired me to have both pairs of my Henry boots done like this at my cobbler, massive upgrade in style
It is an upgrade, they look loads better like this. Do you like the Henry that we show in the new video?

@@shoehealer8853absolutely I commented on how cool they are
Looks loads better like that, and it’s great that you can buy the boots and get that done all in the same shop.
Nice video
