Leather uppers on the boots are very well constructed and lasted good. But I would have to say if you used leather insole and a leather mid sole first than blake stitch construction. Finishing off with a rubber bottom sole, these shoes would be easier to resole and last alot longer. Just doing these extra steps would have made these shoes from good to excellent or even exceptionally constructed shoes.
