I just fired this game up again after being away for 6 months. Going straight into immersive elite again as you are absolutely right about how it plays. I love the realism of this mode and the tactics and strategies it makes you consider, no matter your play style. Keep up the awesome content. I always found it funny that the Karambits are a whole second slower than the straight blades. since technically they should be quicker with a skilled user. That plus the animations the game uses kind of shows that Nomad kind of sucks in CQC. yeah, he gets the job done, but its a sloppy job done.
Well realism in Breakpoint was never one of the high priorities, and thats why they got so many important things wrong. And at the end they made it somewhat playable for everyone but the Mainstream was the key buyers because thats what brings the money...
Big tip for those who suffer motion sickness while playing. Remember to turn the camera shake off and to change camera distance to far in the settings menu. The difference is night and day.
Thanks for the lazer tip on night time, I had no idea other nvg lazers were clearer. Although I disagree on using single fire only for stealth. Burst fire is great for alerted stealth, smg stealth, and is arguably the best fire mode for operation motherland, as there are many enemies that have bullet proof helmets, and can be swiftly taken out in a single burst.
@@ollegoop9 This is true, as it's all subjective depending on your weapon. I personally use the M4A1 Tactical alot since a single burst will melt a heavily armored hostile instantly.
@@vlanson6529 even with a helmet on it usually takes 2 quick bullets to kill anyone unless it's a juggernaut. Then it's usually 3. Plus it's more fun. Sometimes I shoot the helmet off and as the guy turns around I shoot him in the face lol

I have a good technique to desactivate electric central. Put ground mine in front of it. Manually desactivate it. Then go away. Someone is going to come to reactivate it and explode with the mine and the central.
Already knew most of the tips but i kept watching the video only to find that smart tactic throwing a flashbang to a small patrolling group and taking one of them down BEFORE the flashbang goes off. Amazing.
Just beat the base game without the dlcs yet without watching any videos like this and the best tip I can give is to not hesitate. Always take the quick shots, if you miss shoot again. Full auto is for sticky situations only

This is old but your tip about the mawl can be fixed another way. Just turn down your paper white setting in the HDR settings. It's way too high by default for the lighting the devs went with. Especially true if you're using darkest nights setting.

I wish there was a way to quick check your watch/compass ingame. Without it, getting rid of the compass on screen is super annoying. You have to get into the menus to check your north, which is worse than having a widget on screen imo.
wow I didn't know karambit did more CQC time than straight knife, thanks for the info. also heavy chopper get better landing in any terrain is quite surprising and reload after 1 bullet left is a great tips.
Hello Daniel, some lasers you can buy from Maria´s Shop or at the Camp and some you need to find on Auroa so i would suggest you google the location of the part that you´re looking for and I´m sure you´re gonna find it.
Best tip vid ive seen yet. Wish they would stop making reruns of farcry knock offs and give its consumers like myself a more milsim ghost experience. Maybe even throw us a bone or two and give us better character development and better campaigns like previous titles from almost a decade ago now. God i feel old. Anyways, maybe even grant access to an A-10. If you don't know its a bad ass jet similar to the ones that rain hell in the old cod warzone via what they called an "airstrike" . That turrent you heard as it passed by was none other than the A-10. But if they do it it better be realistic and not half assed. Plus if they do it and nail that awe inspiring sound of an A-10s turret and its powerful thrusters i would totally be in heaven. They would definitely have me sold as a best game of the year. But we know that's unlikely.🥺
I gotta say, one thing that pulls me out of the game is when a bad guy AI litteraly bumps into your AI teamate and doesn't notice him at all. Then I pop up and put one in his head. They gotta fix the AI awarnwss for the badguys. I have everything maxed out too. I'm playing on Etreme with no hud, not even using cross hairs.
Hey buddy, you´re absolutely right with the A.I. but not only the enemies your teammates are also dumb AF. Ubisoft just didnt do the job right and now we´re stuck with this half cooked A.I.

Hey bravo, with the 1 bullet in the chamber you don´t need to cock the gun. You just change the mag and you´re ready to fire again. If you shoot the gun dry including the barrel then you need to cock the gun and this takes additional time to do. Hope i could help 👍
What spoilt this game for me is the sci fi Star Wars Battlefront clown fantasy Behemoth Hotwheels tanks with their INFINITE ammo. Even enemy soldiers never run out of ammo. The behemoths affected immersion so much for me that I got a trainer, activated one-hit kill, destroyed every behemoth on the map and got rid of the trainer. Job done. Now I can play on map thats not contaminated with clown fantasy tanks. This is a very fun game with a list of very irritating flaws (you cannot disable the cartoon red spotlight warning of a rocket attack) but I overlook those to enjoy it. Great tips thank you! HUD free is the way.

In regards of your question, hard mode is a difficulty setting and the mastery is a weapon skill mode that allows you to spend skill points to upgrade your abilities with different weapon types. These are 2 completely different things and they work well with each other. So there is no one or the other, it should be both of them. Hey Raf that is a tricky question, they can be op sometimes but they can also be surprisingly stupid. It´s a mixed bag really. I would suggest you try both and see what you like better. I always play alone but everyone likes it differently.

Hello mate, the most important thing when it comes to a reload is the weapon that you´re using. Every weapon has different reload speeds but besides that if you leave at least 1 bullet in the mag and dont shoot the weapon completely empty then your weapon will reload faster than if you shoot it comepletely empty. Besides that there is a perk on the weapon that can give you 10% on reload speed and also clothing like certain gloves that can increase the reload speed further. But these things only work if you play with gearscore on. Hope i could help 👍
It is a great game, you enjoy it buddy. Check your Keybinds in the settings, there should be a bind called "switch sight" or "switch mode" i really dont remember how it is called you have to look for it and test around. But it is in the settings in keybinds. I´m sure you´ll find it.
Hey MrBfg, when you´re playing without a hud it´s pretty hard to tell how many bullets you have left in your mag. When you´re on single fire you will develop a feeling for it after some time and when the time is right to reload. But when you are on autofire with a weapon like the m4a1 or vector then you´re blasting through the mags pretty fast and it´s hard to tell. I would say if you play on autofire i would stick to one weapon and over time you will develop a feeling for it when it´s time to reload on time. Unfortunatelly this changes with every weapon because of the different fire rates. I know this is maybe not the perfect answer but i hope i could help anyway 👍
Hello mate, you can get to level 250 while playing the normal game. Doing missions, clearing camps etc. Then if you wanna go above level 250 you need to play the Raid, that is the only way to reach level 300.
This is just an animation for the faster reload when you leave one bullet in the chamber on the M4A1 i dont know if this works for the other weapons but it does for the M4A1. Just make sure you dont shoot it completely empty before you reload.
Hey buddy, there are 2 Weapons seen in this video. If you mean the Weapon in the Intro then that is a Scar Mk17. And for the rest of the video where i actually show the tips there I´m using an standard M4A1. Hope i could help 👍
I have a question. If you don’t know already, which I still assume you do, gear level turned off means you don’t have an inventory and you need to be at a bivouac or erewon to change out your weapons. Do you have gear level turned on or off?
Hey Connor, yeah i know that already. But I never switch my weapons, when i start with a weapon i stick to it, with that said i play mostly with gearscore on because I´m a Raider and you need the GS on to be able to Raid.
Hey buddy, you can get 1 pair of White NV from Maria´s Shop. It´s the one with the backwards cap and a strap on with the NV´s. The other 3 are from the UbiStore for real money and they all look like different versions of the Splinter Cell NV´s. I hope i could help 👍
Hey buddy, I´m not sure what laser you mean? I only use 2 lasers for all my main weapons. 1. The MAWL_DE that is a green laser 2. The PEQ-15 that is a red one. But anyhow most of the parts for the gun you´ll find in crates all over the map, and you can also buy many from Maria´s Shop. My tip would be if you´re looking for a specific part, just Google and I´m sure you´ll find it. Hope i could help 👍
Hey Silvy, Breakpoint has a lot of content and it´s in a very good state right now. I would go for the Ultimate edition because a lot of content is locked behind dlc´s and this way you have it all. Breakpoint does not have the server issues like Wildlands but it´s a Ubisoft game. There are some minor issues from time to time but in my opinion it´s absolutely worth it if you get it on sale.
Hello Jonathan, there is no on or off switch. You gotta go to your game settings and turn everything off that you dont want one by one. Just go through the whole list and it´ll show you what it all means and then you can decide what you want to turn off or keep turned on. Hope i could help 👍
Hello mate, yeah there is a reason. Breakpoint with hud makes the game to easy, especially with the map. Dont get me wrong when you´re new to the game or you´re just exploring and learning then it is ok. But for content it is just better and more immversive without hud.
For realism's sake any of the .45 handguns since .45 is inherently subsonic and easy to suppress, couple that with something like the Mk23's 6 inch barrel and ultra long suppressor and it would bleed off it's gas very quietly. For the smaller calibers they get more finicky with suppressing sinc2 you have to cold load them to keep them subsonic, which runs into performance and reliability issues that you don't have to worry about with .45
Hey Grappler, it all depends on what you prefer. If you wanna play Raids at some point then yeah Gear Score on. But if you wanna enjoy the story for yourself and just immerse yourself then try it off. I would try both and see which one you like better.
So unfortunate that theres no fast respawn tdm or domination or large squale battles in this game… instead u have rounds and ppl quiting mid match in multiplayer

yeah there is some stuff that you can only get with real money. but it´s mostly cosmetics with some exceptions. Some weapons can me modded differently, also different skins and some of the night visions are white instead of green. But other than that it´s cosmetics.
i like the game but there is one thing i hate and that is that they removed the aweasome movement system. I played the beta and the movement system was so aweasome there was realy weight to each move but sadly they changed it. I wish they give the option to use this movement system when we whant

Infrared lasers literally blind u with nvg in real life. It's pretty realistic

I believe it is setup that way so your teammates don't ruin your stealth by doing something dumb.

In regards of your question, hard mode is a difficulty setting and the mastery is a weapon skill mode that allows you to spend skill points to upgrade your abilities with different weapon types. These are 2 completely different things and they work well with each other. So there is no one or the other, it should be both of them.

Hey Raf that is a tricky question, they can be op sometimes but they can also be surprisingly stupid. It´s a mixed bag really. I would suggest you try both and see what you like better. I always play alone but everyone likes it differently.

Hello mate, this is the cloaking technique that you get during playing the Motherland Storyline. You just gotta progress and collect camo points to upgrade the tech.

I hate how the different NVG color is linked to the headgear and not the NVG themselves. Just let me have the filter I want on the NVG I want ubi. Guess that'll never happen now.
Yeah you´re absolutely right, it should have way more customization options for all gear not only for nvg´s
Hello, how did you get the reload animation for the “faster reload” i think i had it but now my character uses the manual reload animation, is there a perk setup for this? Thanks
Hello mate, the most important thing when it comes to a reload is the weapon that you´re using. Every weapon has different reload speeds but besides that if you leave at least 1 bullet in the mag and dont shoot the weapon completely empty then your weapon will reload faster than if you shoot it comepletely empty. Besides that there is a perk on the weapon that can give you 10% on reload speed and also clothing like certain gloves that can increase the reload speed further. But these things only work if you play with gearscore on. Hope i could help 👍

It is a great game, you enjoy it buddy. Check your Keybinds in the settings, there should be a bind called "switch sight" or "switch mode" i really dont remember how it is called you have to look for it and test around. But it is in the settings in keybinds. I´m sure you´ll find it.

Hey MrBfg, when you´re playing without a hud it´s pretty hard to tell how many bullets you have left in your mag. When you´re on single fire you will develop a feeling for it after some time and when the time is right to reload. But when you are on autofire with a weapon like the m4a1 or vector then you´re blasting through the mags pretty fast and it´s hard to tell. I would say if you play on autofire i would stick to one weapon and over time you will develop a feeling for it when it´s time to reload on time. Unfortunatelly this changes with every weapon because of the different fire rates. I know this is maybe not the perfect answer but i hope i could help anyway 👍

Hello mate, you can get to level 250 while playing the normal game. Doing missions, clearing camps etc. Then if you wanna go above level 250 you need to play the Raid, that is the only way to reach level 300.
How do I throw the mag out of my gun instead of putting it back on my character
Hello mate, i dont really understand the question. There are no phisical mags in Breakpoint that you can throw away.
On the screen it showed u throwing the mag out of the gun and putting a new one in in the fast reload one
This is just an animation for the faster reload when you leave one bullet in the chamber on the M4A1 i dont know if this works for the other weapons but it does for the M4A1. Just make sure you dont shoot it completely empty before you reload.

Hey buddy, there are 2 Weapons seen in this video. If you mean the Weapon in the Intro then that is a Scar Mk17. And for the rest of the video where i actually show the tips there I´m using an standard M4A1. Hope i could help 👍

I have a question. If you don’t know already, which I still assume you do, gear level turned off means you don’t have an inventory and you need to be at a bivouac or erewon to change out your weapons. Do you have gear level turned on or off?
Hey Connor, yeah i know that already. But I never switch my weapons, when i start with a weapon i stick to it, with that said i play mostly with gearscore on because I´m a Raider and you need the GS on to be able to Raid.

Hey buddy, you can get 1 pair of White NV from Maria´s Shop. It´s the one with the backwards cap and a strap on with the NV´s.
The other 3 are from the UbiStore for real money and they all look like different versions of the Splinter Cell NV´s.

Hey buddy, I´m not sure what laser you mean? I only use 2 lasers for all my main weapons. 1. The MAWL_DE that is a green laser 2. The PEQ-15 that is a red one. But anyhow most of the parts for the gun you´ll find in crates all over the map, and you can also buy many from Maria´s Shop. My tip would be if you´re looking for a specific part, just Google and I´m sure you´ll find it.

Hey, I was thinking about buying and playing this game with friends. Does Breakpoint have any sort of server issues like Wildlands?
Hey Silvy, Breakpoint has a lot of content and it´s in a very good state right now. I would go for the Ultimate edition because a lot of content is locked behind dlc´s and this way you have it all. Breakpoint does not have the server issues like Wildlands but it´s a Ubisoft game. There are some minor issues from time to time but in my opinion it´s absolutely worth it if you get it on sale.
How do I turn off the hud?
Hello Jonathan, there is no on or off switch. You gotta go to your game settings and turn everything off that you dont want one by one. Just go through the whole list and it´ll show you what it all means and then you can decide what you want to turn off or keep turned on. Hope i could help 👍

Hello mate, yeah there is a reason. Breakpoint with hud makes the game to easy, especially with the map. Dont get me wrong when you´re new to the game or you´re just exploring and learning then it is ok. But for content it is just better and more immversive without hud.

For realism's sake any of the .45 handguns since .45 is inherently subsonic and easy to suppress, couple that with something like the Mk23's 6 inch barrel and ultra long suppressor and it would bleed off it's gas very quietly. For the smaller calibers they get more finicky with suppressing sinc2 you have to cold load them to keep them subsonic, which runs into performance and reliability issues that you don't have to worry about with .45
I just got Wildlands and breakpoint recently and automatically played extreme mode for WL and Immersive for BP. I’ll never play an easier difficulty.

Hey Grappler, it all depends on what you prefer. If you wanna play Raids at some point then yeah Gear Score on. But if you wanna enjoy the story for yourself and just immerse yourself then try it off. I would try both and see which one you like better.

Hey Eldritch, 99% of the weapons in the game you can get from ingame money or blueprints so you don´t have to spend any real money to get great guns.

yeah there is some stuff that you can only get with real money. but it´s mostly cosmetics with some exceptions. Some weapons can me modded differently, also different skins and some of the night visions are white instead of green. But other than that it´s cosmetics.
i like the game but there is one thing i hate and that is that they removed the aweasome movement system. I played the beta and the movement system was so aweasome there was realy weight to each move but sadly they changed it. I wish they give the option to use this movement system when we whant
Well Ubisoft did a lot of wrong things on Breakpoint, i hope they have learned out of their mistakes and do it better on the next one.
Best tip is to play Wildlands instead :D

You can create 3 loadouts, you just go into your default loadout and you can create 2 more from there.
