Nice. I just got this and it seems that whatever you think of Ubisoft, they stick with their games and fix them. It looks like they’ve included every option that anyone ever asked for and I love customisable and removable HUDs. It was seen as a joke at launch but Breakpoint looks like a beauty now.
That darkest night setting is something that I never knew I even needed. That along with a few other changes makes the game so much more immersive. Now I handle most of my ops at or around night time
Since the update is coming up tomorrow and more players are expected to return and join the game, I tough to myself, what better time than now to do this? Enjoy bros!
Having the HUD stripped down will make doing missions more of a chore for new players though. I would suggest taking the time to see what exactly each setting does and choosing according to what you are doing. If you want reminders and navigation helps and context then please don't turn them off. When just going rogue then sure strip it all down and have at it taking the hardest bases with stealth and accuracy.
One thing I do to improve immersion I feel is if you don't use a laser sight unless you have nvg down not telling you to do this btw but it is something I do considering that enemies can't see the laser.
Great advice especially reducing or eliminating HUD. I would add that if higher difficulty is too hard at first, don’t turn your HUD on but turn down the difficulty. I’d MUCH rather have an immersive and fantastic looking experience on an easier difficulty that play on Elite difficulty with stuff all over the screen. It’s a superior experience.
How to become pro, according to this video: put everything on extreme and play the game... Some real tips: Use cover and be mobile Use pistol for sneaking, you dont need more, use primary for loud
These tips definitely changed the game for me. And I only applied them after I finished the campaign so it's like starting a new game all over again. Thanks for great content👍
I strongly disagree that removing the HUD is better. Here is why. While going hud off is cool and more immersive, that is equal to playing COD or being in WW2 in the 2020s. It is not real. Future/Modern soldiers of today and the future use and will use HUD assistance for their tactical ops and missions and they will also, use drones with thermal imaging to pinpoint enemy locations so, the HUD is natural and part of the experience today, so embrace it. And you can be WAY more tactical when you know when everybody is and execute your ops in a spectacular way and with ruthless efficiency, which war is all about.
I personally use the Pathfinder class due to you being able to have White Hot thermal it’s much easier to see enemies that way in my opinion than red hot thermal
For me on the settings I took away all the stuff that makes the player Omniscient, so no enemy or ally markers, only objective markers bc some objectives are really tough to get to without that bit of guidance in what can be interacted with & such. Then all the other stuff like HUD completely off, crosshairs gone, item pickup & loot shaders off. This is one of the best third person shooters out there with these levels of gameplay customizations
So personally I recommend playing realistic with hud at the start then switching afterwards. I started with no hud and felt complete lost and overwhelmed by the menus and lack of guidance for missions. Edit: also if you have a Xbox one original or ps4 I’d recommend staying away from the game I’m on Xbox one original and suffer from horrible lag and the game looks pretty rough at points.

My combo is FAL + G2 Despite what the game says, higher capacity mags actually REDUCE recoil. Always go for the highest capacity mag so you can take down your targets with maximum accuracy. The A.I teammates are best used with a DMR or SNR. Not only will they engage from further away (about 150m on foot and 75m in vehicles) but they also become stupid accurate, being able to take down enemies on foot and in light vehicles with 1 or 2 shots and enemies in heavily armored vehicles with 3-10 shots.
@@CusterPlays I still have more tips but those were the ones that I could think of at the time. If you wanna know just how OP having all of your teammates using snipers is, they took down a gunship on golem island before it could even shoot at us.
Pick Panther and loot all 21 Behemoth Defense Towers within the first 1-2 hours. Decent weapons, most perks unlocked and the confidence to maneuver around Behemoths.
I disagree with removing all icons. Keeping on loot icons is one thing, if you don't want to spend time grinding looking for stuff\material upgrading firearms\etc, is highly suggested to keep on. Also keeping on guide mode minimizes the time spent looking for places and instead of spending a lot of time looking for where to go next.
Coming from Wildlands, i never gave this game enough of a chance before going rite back to Wildlands, but after watching this, tweeking the settings, it’s my new “go to” military shooter… thank you 👌
what I love the most about this game is it gives options to all kinds of players... you can go full immersive on hardest difficulty if you like to play more realistic... or you can go all out on easiest difficulty making this a relaxed looter shooter as an overpowered superhuman which sometimes is really all you need to relax after a hard week ^^
the real challenge is a new game with zero upgraded skills, no perks, playing as a medic going solo just like in the old where it was just you and a gun playing through the game.
the game would have been a 1000 times better if the setting was a real place with history instead of a fake island, the lack of lived in environment is still the biggest issue i have with this game, they fixed as much as they could so pts for that
This game is amazing. Played with my friends and it feels like you on real missions, it very realistic. Everything from prep for mission to transport to engaging its crazy.
The amount of settings is cool but also for a new player just buying a game it's kinda too much cause I never palued the game in a broken state so I can't judge what to turn off or turn on
I've played immersive and gear level mode and I lioe both but prefer gear level. When I'm just playing to have fun I use immersive but when I'm in for a long haul I use gear level because it makes me feel more accomplished when I level up gear, weapons and class skills. Personally I'm glad to have the rpg like mode because it actually fits well with the open world imo. When I play immersive, yes it's fun but I never have that feeling of accomplishment because every gun and piece of gear is already maxed out so it feels more like I'm playing an open world action game where the only thing I'm doing is going from mission to mission and clearing all enemies with no real reward of finding a high level gun or piece of gear. I like the leveling up way more than just finding a gun and being like oh cool a different gun. Either way you play though I personally think Breakpoint is the best Ghost game in the series and I'm aware that most fans will disagree with me, I really don't care, it's all personal preference.
What I don’t understand is why are there levels to pants or hats and items like that, seems ridiculous to me. I just started and don’t really understand the levels, the whole UI is confusing
Just started playing yesterday... looking forward to the new expansion as the story mode I'm not totally sold on.. Loving the immersive mode and just exploring so far... Do you have any tips on navigating in the big base/building? I often get lost in buildings and always take hours to find objectives. Sometimes I can't even find the stairs.
Mini maps, and drones actually help in the realistic aspect. In "real" life you might not know all the details that the drone and map give you but you would also have intell and sensorry awareness and knowledge that you cant have in a video game. It's a good balance in my opinion.

Quick note, the Echelon EMP pistol _kills_ humans inside the blast radius so don't use it if you don't want to kill your target. Drones will be disabled _until_ they are shot, when they get shot they will reboot and turn on again very quickly but will remain shut down otherwise

Excellent video thanks. I totally agree with you. These games are best played with the HUD turned off and all enemy displays in the mini map disabled. They really want to hold the gamers hand too much in games these days. I cant stand all the super powers like wall-hack , xray vision etc. This is why I play Breakpoint solo cos when Im with the AI team they use that stupid "combat drone" that does a "scan" and suddenly I can see bad guys through walls. Wth is the point. Game removes all challenge! Subbed!

They need to do away with the Story mode and places like Erewhon in the games. Instead have an opening cutscene that we can play as the very first mission over again if we want to with our created character that we could deck out immediately as we see fit and our choices would then lock other items that we would than have to purchase with in game currency earned through either playing or buying, our choice of course. Cutscenes of action throughout different missions, again no story but instead add customizable missions, and we can choose our location for a safe house or forward operating base depending on the size of the structure we choose to operate out of. Rather it be an old cabin or a military base we cleared and took over. Than we could customize our base how we choose. If we rescue civilians, we'd have the option to move them to our base for safety, anyone on our base could be trained up and taken out on patrol or be assigned to defend the base. Ubisoft is slowly going in the direction of other games and its a shame.

Yep. its pretty good
Use the hardest difficulty with two primary weapons and it's fun af.
I dont like how they put the weapons in the back
@@CusterPlays you prefer it in the front? i love putting the guns on the back
How do you make that outfit on the right side of the thumbnail lmao?
How do you switch shoulders when aiming on Xbox?
Right bumper
Quick note, the Echelon EMP pistol _kills_ humans inside the blast radius so don't use it if you don't want to kill your target. Drones will be disabled _until_ they are shot, when they get shot they will reboot and turn on again very quickly but will remain shut down otherwise
Yoooo thanks for the video!!
Can you still one shot choppers like in wild lands?
Has the bullet drop mechanic changed from wild lands in this game?
My only tip is to learn how bullet drop works once you master the drop on your gun you can wipe out an entire base from a hill
Bullet drop does not work. Period. Sometimes the guns reach 600m, and then the same gun only reaches 150m. Its broken af
@@CusterPlays yeah bullet drop is terrible in breakpoint, but what I mean is learn the drop on the gun you use
And if your gun has Stupid bulletdrop use a different gun
I personally use the MK17 and the TAC50 just because I’ve mastered the bullet drop
@@bestnameonthisplatform352 tac50 has minimal bullet drop bro
The discord link doesn’t work bud i would love to have more insight and tips and tricks like this. Excellent video. I have just bought this game.
debating whether to get this game any advice?
If discounted...sure
I play with the gear level on just to switch weapons easier. But I turn off all the HUD and eveything else.
does the crafting advice apply to item level off mode?
I haven't played with gear score basically since I started playing. And my AK 74 is a favorite of mine
Is it possible to beat the game on elite no HUD with drone presence on classic?
one option that I still which for them to implement that would be easy to code in is. To Not auto-reload your weapon when it's empty
Subbed!
Indeed, games get way too easy this days. They want to appeal everyone but forget about the core audience,..
You can turn all that crap off.
Right. At first Fury's scan skill seems like a relief. After a while it makes it too easy.
@@kjtimothy Well said! On another note it took me ages to realize that I can disable AI members. Now I just keep one with me for very tough missions. Forgot which one, not the drone guy for sure! Havent played in ages.
What was the camo sniper u we’re using
What gun were you using in the gameplay?
I actually like stripping everything off the AK and traveling light looking the part as a guerilla fighter
I hate those iron sighs ahah
@@CusterPlays lol true but still makes it entertaining. That and the good ol FAL
Hey... Awesome vid, but could you tell me the gun and attachments for the pro gun in the thumbnail?
Great quality video.
This is soo good. Great video
Thanks bro, im glad u liked it!
so immersive mode ? but how will i loot then if it’s not will i have to buy all new weapons ?
Make bullet damage count by mass x velocity = power
Definitely needs to be more realistic
Im gonna accept the challenge and use imersive mode and shutting down hud and stuff. Keep up the videos coming 👌
Only way to play it!
Hey man. Sorry can I ask what you said at 1:24? I heard it as ‘turning down the head’? What did you mean? Thanks.
I meant turning down the HUD my bro
I am not playing this way yet, all that stuff is crazy to take off
very well constructed video, informal and entertaining. very good job.
Thanks man, appreciate it!
@@CusterPlays can you do a video on that “pro” outfit in the thumbnail? looks pretty nice and I would like to copy it
I like how he says not to use snipers while he uses one
can an mk1 weapon be upgraded to an mk3? or are the mk levels weapon specific?
Do you by any chance have a MilSim group? If so, I would love to join it. I'm in the Australian Federal Police and would like to see how you go along side me and possibly others.
What platform are you on? I have a discord, link is in the banner! Feel free to join!
@@CusterPlays I play on PC for Breakpoint.

@@DocGiraffe Try the one in the banner
@@CusterPlays I didn't see a banner. Would it be too much trouble to have an invite here or possibly DM me it? If you want to DM me it, my Discord is Deus De Magikarp#1296.
Nice vid cuter 👍👍
Thanks Tom!
I appreciated this video!
Thanks for watching!
5:44 are we gonna ignore the fact that his hair changed colors
Lol
Where can I find that suit you have as a pro?
Love the vid
Exactly 10 min you are a legend
Hehehe thanks bro
