The top category was govt jobs at 57% of the total. The 2nd highest was HCI (health care industry). And it is collapsing because of too many doctors/nurses/billing clerks and not enough sick people to give them jobs. The statistics are so incredibly skewed when it comes to job growth and unemployment rates. It's easy to claim growth when people are only accounted for that are using the unemployment programs. Who as well can only take advantage of it for approximately 3 to 6 months depending on the state.
Often they claim those who no longer receive unemployment have gotten a job when infact that is not the case and have simply exceeded the time allotted to claim.
June jobs are seasonal. These aren't good numbers and I believe them to be inflated.

Government jobs are mostly at local levels including police officers, firefighters and other officials a lot of government positions were budgeted but were going unfilled during the pandemic boom. A lot of police departments were facing recruitment issues during the pandemic which is improving.

Unemployment might be low, but it's misrepresented. The actual picture is much more dismal than it appears on paper. it doesn't take into account salary to inflation ratio which is pretty bad, so inflation has to come down and/or salaries need to go up for the current unemployment rate to show more truth than it does now. It also counts those who are working three part time jobs with low pay and no benefits as being employed.

The jobs numbers are usually from "The Bureau of Labor Statistics" ... they use the exact same methodology, regardless of what admin's in power.
