Most of the companies are not price gouging. They have the same increases in operating cost just like your home budget. It is government spending that is increasing prices. Here is a very simple example.
If your country has an economy of $100 and your government prints one hundred $1 bills each bill is worth $1 but if they print two hundred $1 bills then your dollar now has the buying power of 50 cents. Our government is printing 4 trillion dollars a year. It doesn’t matter if it is spent on migrants the Ukraine or social services. Every dollar they print makes your dollar worth less and less.
