@@dennisk9130 what helped me alot was playing against high rated opponents like 2000plus and talking with them through the games also always check ur analytics after ur games to see what u couldve done better or how u can defend better etc and most importantly play chess and never forget to only play for fun and not rating!

a3 and b4 you probably mean. Seems like you can just capture the knight and then take the pawn. (But then white has the bishop pair, which is said to worth half a pawn extra)
Yes, but black can ignore the trapped pawn and capture white's pawn on d4, resulting in both the d3 bishop and c3 knight hanging. The knight can then be taken with tempo, threatening to capture the a1 rook in the next move
No secret for success will work if you don't! It's essential to dedicate at least one hour a day to studying the game. Thanks to videos like this you can get more done in that one hour! But don't just watch and pretend that you have learned something. Chess is not a spectator sport. Unless you have a fantastic memory watch this video at least twice, then set out the pieces on a board and replay the game from memory, thinking about each move. That's what Otto did and that's what I am trying to do -- my spatial IQ is my weakest. I see that it all started with that e4 and white kept on doubling down on the mistake. Black made a couple of big bold moves but mostly it was just playing good solid chess. An excellent lesson. Thank you.

I'm genuinely curious on why people want to become really good at chess. I get people throughout time would play it and it's a hard game. But why grind at something for years without your real life being improved by it. Yes there might be that one in a thousand that became wealthy cause of the chess knowledge he learned but yet he could have still learned else where i.e a book or something plus that person probably got in that position through learning and trial and error.
I'm gonna be honest, I started playing chess 9 months ago (less than 400 elo), I'm currently rated about 1950 and opponents still blunder really simple tactics (2-3 move sequences) at around the intermediate level (1200-1800). So I attribute my knowledge to just getting better at Puzzles. Try getting above a 2500 puzzle rating and see how your elo sky rockets.
Even if you have a good content, the cadence (removing any pauses in your speech) reduces the impact of your teaching. You leave no time to absorb the previous sentence or look at the position and compare it to your statement, moving right on to the next idea before the first one is registered. I am not talking about your speed of speech but the pauses. I understand you want to respect our time and make your presentation compact but i think this isn't the right approach. Instead you could think more about what you want to say and say it only once, leaving in the natural pauses that occur in speech.
I wonder if people with this accent get free and three confused. Cause in American English these two words sound totally different but for you guys it sounds the same.
