@@imabanana2371 I knew about the previous Lore, but I'm very curious about the Magistus specifically, because it's precisely the part of the Lore that was "left for imagination" and now we'll find out

Pst, hey, Cimo...the Magistus Extra Deck monsters get equipped in the Spell/Trap Zone, so you can pop the equipped monsters with Ninaruru. Also, I'd love to combine this with Shaddolls since many of their monsters are Spellcasters!
honestly hope they double as support for their respective archetypes cause i dont pendulums would get any more support any time soon. Also a fan of witchcrafters too so it would be nice
It's nice that Magistus Maiden Artemis makes Aleister the Invoker a 1 card Invoked Mechaba (summon Aleister --> search Invocation --> link off Aleister into Artemis --> use Invocation to summon Mechaba with Aleister + Artemis). Not the greatest turn 1 play, but it is nice to see the synergy there
I think its neat that the card that lets you equip a non magistus monster to a target could be shaddoll fusion monsters. If the equipped monster gets used for something and the shaddoll fusion monster gets unequipped you immediately get to add shaddoll spells and traps back from grave to hand? Idk lol
Curious if we'll see more fusions to work with kid aleister's attribute effect, I'm not sure if any of the other extra deck cards call for specific attributes. I really like this archetype as a whole, the combination of multiple spellcasters, the fact that currently, I think each main deck monster corresponds to a different ED monster since they're based on equipping themselves. I think GI is going to be headlined by either draitron or magistus (evil twins don't look that good) but I'm not sure both of these themes are going to be good. Magistus seems like it has more options for decks and cards to work with, and a lot of variety in its effects but I'm not sure if it does enough. DRaitron seems like the more immediately powerful deck, plus being machines is good, but there's the inherent struggle of being a ritual deck. If GI has 1 or 2 decks that are cool and playable, but not as good as secret slayers, well, I'll be pretty happy.
When only the Images of the 3 Archetypes where Public i thought that its gonna be a Fire Dragon Synchro Archetype. Like A Combination of Fire King, Nephthys and Rokkets

Btw, Tris Magistus's last effect is wrong here! It actually allows you to send it in order to summon, kind of like Will of the Salamangreat for your hand!
that arctype is kinda if you put infernoble/ god siegfried whatchamacailt, dogmatica and invoced togeter plus they suport spellcaster on a way like witchcrafter espacialy, aruru, verre and haine i think personally u can put a bit of invoced, a small small dogmatica engine and a bit of witchcrafter mostly verre and aruru in there and be done kinda but dunno shadoll would do good to them but still no idea most people would be on the evil twins and dratron after
The whole gimmick of the deck is to equip the extra deck monsters to your monsters/opponent monsters. The xyz effect to pop your cards is meant to pop the synchro to nuke the field. Reason why the monsters say a non-lvl 4 magistus. With the spell to equip a non-magistus monster, you can equip stuff like shooting quazar to special shooting star or any monsters that want to be sent to the GY. This deck is either a hit or miss. With more support, they could work as rogue like Generaider. I'm most likely going to pick it up to test around.

I've been testing invoked magistus online. The fusion and mechaba has been enough to just end my opponents turn by themselves. It definitely has potential but just seems to be missing something to really push for the top tier. The fusion is definitely the best card so far
They're missing access to their fusion monster. Sure, Verre searches the spell, but you don't have a good way to access Verre without using your normal summon unless you open Tris.

I am starting to get back into yugioh after dropping it. I do not play in real life because money so I play online. The last time I was playing the game, Orcust was the top deck and Harp Horror just got banned and Book of Moon went to 3. I normally play Dark Magician, Raidraptors, and Mecha Phantom Beasts if that gives insight to my likings. So what are the top decks and why are they broken?
I think V from Team Minority famously once said "If it doesn't feel unfair, it's probably not good." This deck just feels a little too fair. Its main summons are from the hand and graveyard, making it slow, fragile or both. Most of its effects are one for ones if not negs. I probably would have wanted to see Konami spend a little more power allowance on disruptive effects or resource replenishing. But I guess I said the same thing about True Kings, so who knows. This archetype would have been fire like five years ago.
It doesn't go that well with Pendulums tbh. They take your already limited spell/trap slots with equipped monsters. Endymion uses 2 zones for pendulums, 1 free zone for your spells and at least 1 (but could easily be two) for your continuous spells like the Mythical Bestiary. So at maximum you'd have just one space for maintain an equipped magistus.
i think they will be good. cant wait to get some of these for Pends. Tris is pretty good with Magicians Souls. if the fusion didnt target it would be even better. and i really like the link 1.
I don't understand why they don't add simple text like in the small Crowley this card is considered a invoker card... Or when on the field this card name is alleister the invoker... Endymion have that it can be considered a endymion card but the other two no... Even verre a simple "this card is considered a magocrafter card" they coss the lore of the three archetype but not the archetype itself...
He's the only one we haven't been introduced to yet. Fan theories right now, based on the fact that Aleister, Endymion, and Verre are feuding (Endymion attacked the spellbook tower where Aleister is locked away and Verre is pouching Endymion's workers for her new Witchcrafter Group) is that they, along with Zoroa, were friends who studied magic together to create new life: Aleister with invoking from other realms, Verre with bringing to life artificial constructs, Zoroa's is unknown (I am betting it's turning elements into living creatures), and Endymion didn't create new life but rather summoned a young goddess. One spellcaster would use the other three to fuel their power to perform the spell (thus Trimagistus). Something happened, maybe to Zoroa, that caused them to break up. Verre used magic to alter herself to look like a child. Aleister, without the help of his friends, had to use his own body and soul to invoke and thus was turned into a monster and then his own students sealed him away to power the Spellbook Tower, and Endymion married the goddess and declared himself Emperor of the Citadel. I bet next year we get Zoroa's archtype where we find out what happened to him.
I need some help getting back into Yu gi oh after years of not playing xD, Goldilocks Battle landscaper can you help me with how this card effect actually works? Slot of youtube and other sites are very vague
Seems to be like a prequel to the endymion lore. Maybe when they all where students or something like that. They all have been at the magical citadel of endymion at some point. I just don't recognize Zoroa.
I dont really Care too much about any of These Cards except Maiden Artemis. Its a Link 1 for Spellcasters! Thats awesome! The other Cards are a bit dissappointing but Not Bad at all
I think the biggest weakness of magistus is that they have no real power plays. They are decent at generic rank 4 spam but that isn’t much. And in theme their bosses do little. I guess the fusion has good disruption but you won’t be able to make it fast enough. Maybe this deck can be combined with something else to reach greatness, but that isn’t a mark of a good deck.
I just hate that Aleister The Invoker sees MORE lore than High Priestess of Prophecy and even Spellbook Magician of Prophecy AKA Blue Boi, I mean Prophecy whooped Endymion back to kingdom come in the lore and it's Endymion AND Aleister who get to go on the adventures...
I am have come up with a idea for a card for the noble knights deck the noble knights deck is Bake Off the league of king arthur but then no card bake off camelot so I have made a idea for a card called Caerleon realm of the Noble Knights is a field spell
Zoroa and Theologia are easily the best cards in the set. They'd synergize fairly well with Dogmatika and may even be splashable into said archetype's Invoked variants. The rest of the cards? Really lackluster. I don't see this archetype as a stand-alone deck taking off anytime soon.
it's not like you normal summon Zoroa eff equip link 1, special summon a lv 4 spellcaster and then savage , that don't work like that, too weak for todays yugioh
@@half_blood and then? what I mean in my previous comment is that combo is weaker than a gusto combo but i forgot to write equip link 1 etc...yugioh don't work like that nowadays.. too many resources just for a borreload is trash , I can make a board with 5 to 6 negates without normal summoning
So we get Muppet babies for Endymion and Invoked, gonna assume the Witchcrafter ether made herself young again or she's dead now. Kinda disappointed I can't seem to splash this into my Endymion deck but I'm intrested in what this means for the lore.... maybe he felt slightly bad when burning the Spellbook tower to the ground
You can *kinda* fit this into Endymion. Never full combo though. Magistus Endymion’s level fits within their pendulum scales and the effect to pop a spell/trap and mulligan a card can be really good if you draw desires off of desires, or if you need to get cards out of your pendulum scales. If you use his first effect to get out artemis, you get another spellcaster to hand which is pretty nice, which you can mulligan if you want. Or use Crowley, Rilliona, or Zoroa to go into further plays.
Hey Cimoo, I have a question. I am new to YU GI OH. and i am watching yu gi oh videos, and all I hear is complain against meta decks, or complain about the car being dull. I thought the game was using the cards you have to a maximum efficiency even if they aren't OP. and also If for example a player made a deck from ignored average cards, and make it really good and op and became a tier 0 deck, Is OCG?/TCG default reaction banning cards in the deck? Because if they are I feel like the game is just milking you out of money. After seeing a lot of yu gi oh videos, I didn't get that feeling I had when I played imaginary yu gi oh when I was a kid, or when I watched the anime. because I feel like following one deck just to win defeats the whole point of creativity and play. Like If you copied a consistent meta decks, you are going to be playing the same shit every match you have. Isn't that kinda sound boring. Sorry for a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes, I am just writing what I felt without stop. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
So here's the thing, konami prints new powerful decks every once in a while to keep the game alive right? The creativity of the game is in either finding an old strategy that is strong against new strategies, or anti-meta as it's called, or if you are playing meta, figuring out how to outplay your opponent, either with a unique list, or simply knowing those decks better than your opponent.
the big problem with the game right now is Covid. with no events going on right now (Konami sanctioned events not the online stuff. Konami doesnt own those) they dont have a basis on what to hit in their banlists. with no data to go off of nothing gets hit which means the top decks get to roam free unchecked. and if your running a top meta deck that u paid upwards of $600+ to get and its still at full power and winning.....why pay another $600+ to get a new deck and have to learn it when u already know the ins and outs of ur current meta deck???
I thought Konami has learned from L1 Monster giving you Pluses. Striker Dragon, Sky Striker Cards, Beilings etc. are all super toxic. Those cards turn ANY card in your deck into a +1. Always. You don't need to draw it, they literally powercreep a deck by themself. Yugioh is slowly getting to a point where draw RNG is non existent since any hand in your deck is pretty much full combo. Back in the day when yugioh was actually good and slow, that wasn't the case.

The other Cards are a bit dissappointing but Not Bad at all
Harpies Feather Duster is now at 1
I have a feeling dogmatika magistus will be meta
Oh boy another deck Invoke can Use
I think the biggest weakness of magistus is that they have no real power plays. They are decent at generic rank 4 spam but that isn’t much. And in theme their bosses do little. I guess the fusion has good disruption but you won’t be able to make it fast enough.
Maybe this deck can be combined with something else to reach greatness, but that isn’t a mark of a good deck.
It seems decent. Though i believe it will be used as an engine mostly.
Remember when rock monsters used to be considered sub par?
Let's be honest, the link 1 is just a replacement for Gardna in Invoked decks.
Got excited when
I saw then thumbnail and thought 'oh boy, another fire archetype'...le sigh.
Magistus dolls is great im loving it
Why does this feel as if ABC met Orcust?
These cards have the same problem that Orcust had no real end goal or any really good end board.
Until Dark neostorm Came along
Exactly what i was thinking
Building Magistus Spellbooks
I am have come up with a idea for a card for the noble knights deck the noble knights deck is Bake Off the league of king arthur but then no card bake off camelot so I have made a idea for a card called Caerleon realm of the Noble Knights is a field spell
Noble Knights in a Bake off I would watch that anime lol.
1 card borreload savage dragon is pretty decent tbh
Zoroa and Theologia are easily the best cards in the set. They'd synergize fairly well with Dogmatika and may even be splashable into said archetype's Invoked variants.
The rest of the cards? Really lackluster. I don't see this archetype as a stand-alone deck taking off anytime soon.
Guys don’t worry is has “800 Defense”
The new Eldlich :o
Don't know how the hell you connected those two but ok
@@lingybalinka1339 probably short printed and expensive af, maybe meta relevant so you will have a +100$ card, so yeah same pattern, the new eldlich
@@Agustin9191 they are really bad actually
@@Chomuugon just wait a few months
@@Agustin9191 Still doesn't function even a little bit similarly
Unchained support?
Not really no.
Magistus Nemeses Invoked is looking okay...
Seems like a different Datascape...
Tris magistus reminds me of will of the salamangreat
Banlist is out, BLOCK DRAGON'S GOT BANNED
The lvl 4 turner can make Savage strike dragon in one turn
it's not like you normal summon Zoroa eff equip link 1, special summon a lv 4 spellcaster and then savage , that don't work like that, too weak for todays yugioh
@@eldlichthegoldenboi2556 normal summon Zoroa, equip Link 1, summon lv 4 spellcaster, summon Borreload, equip Link 1 from grave.
Back in the day when yugioh was actually good and slow, that wasn't the case.
magistus invocation should have been treated as invocation ...
NEW BANLIST CIMOOOO
Can we get a legit alien archetype? 👽
I'm building invoked shaddol magistus you will fear me lol
I really want these cards
Rank 4 earth ROCK... oh shit... Block Magistus incoming
I love how Konami tried to balance card by give them a downside for their effect, but then make it straight unplayable
Now Evil twins
This is a cool deck, looks fun so If is cheap i'll take it
Does any one smell shaddoll support
That looks pretty good
I think this archetype is cool
