Enjoyed the video. My wife has kinfolk in Heber Springs, been there a few times. I have many memories of my Dad and I hunting and fishing too! I'm 62 and Dad is 83 now, but he doesn't hunt or fish anymore. I still do and always carry my deer or fish to Dad's house for him to see. I can always see that sparkle in his eyes when looking. It makes me sad, but happy at the same time. Your comments brought that memory back again. Thanks.
My daughter’s studying Music Management at uni and I’ve been editing her work. She recently wrote about the development of the Chicago Blues and so I’ve learned all about the Mississippi boy, Muddy Waters and how he brought that distinctive guitar sound into the blues. Consequently, I have a new appreciation of the wonderful sounds you play in your videos.

This has become one of my favorite RUclips channels. I’m an old almost Eagle Scout so I spent a good deal of time out in the woods earning all those merit badges and building fires and the like. It’s been some time since I’ve been out in the woods but I’ve been telling people that there has to be a big foot in our country and in different remote parts of the world. Thank you for all you do your stories that you pick are very good and I may just have to come visit you at the convention.

Hi, I enjoy listening to your stories. Not to crazy about the interviews, but oh well. You were talking about the trip with your dad. Went on many trips with my dad, he is also gone, but one in particular. He did exactly what you were talking about, got the front of the boat into the brush and I was stuck fishing out in more open areas. I catch fish and he doesn't. About the 3rd fish I caught ,from the front of the boat comes; " You catch one more damn fish and I'm going to throw your butt in!"

What great stories! I have a brother who lives in Bryant, AR. My nieces own the Blue House Deli and Bakery. Y'all try it. Cam I love your stories, especially when you're talking about fishing places I've fished. Wish I could go to Gatlinburg this summer.
Great stories as usual. When you mentioned Arkansas, my ears perked up. I live in NE Texas, maybe 30 ± minutes from Faulk, AR, NW Louisiana & less than an hour from Oklahoma. Maybe one day I will have my own encounter to share. I have a second hand story that I would love to tell but haven't been able to get permission to do so.

I think you're spot on with the Nutria explanation Cam, they were introduced post WW2 for fur farming but escaped into the waterways in which they thrive. In the UK we call them Coypu and they had a heck of a job eliminating them from the wild.

Hi Cam, my mom was raised 20 miles from Butler Holler in Kentucky and my family down there has such a thick southern accent ,if they talk to fast I have a hard time understanding them lol but I love it so you aren't alone. I, love your stories your voice is so comforting to me. I'm a extreme insomniac so I take my phone to bed with me around 4am, every morning and its the best sleeping pill I very ever had..want to thank you.

I was in my canoe in south LA a few years ago and saw about a hundred of them in this isolated lake down there. It was weird! They did’t come after me, just stared and showed their big orange teeth! I’m not afraid of them but sure wouldn’t try to grab one!

I saw the get together on Nanc’s website a few weeks back after she talked about it. I immediately bought my ticket just so I could meet the two of you. Your show led me to Buckeye Bigfoot about 10 months ago. I’m not trying to butter up but I enjoy these two channels the most. I went to high school and college in Kentucky right in the middle of Ohio and Tennessee. I have lived in Denver for 35 years now. I’ve been retired for 7 years now. I try and take a little getaway once a year by myself. This year I’m choosing to come and meet the two of you. I’m so excited, I can’t wait for July to get here. Until then be safe.

The Bryant story - thank you sir for that story! I grew up in Bryant, moved there in 1984 over behind Indian Springs Baptist church. Later my dad bought some land out in Alexander and built a house. His dog went missing, never to be found. They’ve now been reunited in heaven ❤

My grandmother was born and raised in late 1800’s Arkansas, in the Ozark Mountains before moving to Texas. From the time I was a little kid, she told me how the “big hairy men” would come at night and take their older pigs or chickens, but left the younger ones alone, I guess so they could eat and mature. Farms in the area had the same problems. The Bigfoot would also take eggs, but never took them all. My dad said he heard the same stories from her when he was growing up. She never referred to them as Bigfoot, just the big wild man or big hairy man.she also talked about their bad odor, and because the windows were usually open, they knew when the Bigfoot were around, and didn’t go out. But, there were always prints and signs of them having been there.
That's really something, "leaving some eggs!"

Hey Cam. I think you're right about the Nutria. I just read they were introduced into Korea in 1987, and since they have no predators there, the population quickly exploded.
