I feel as though Marvel is really sleeping on their laurels in making a more grounded story that can still tie into the bigger scene. Like imagine a Peter going through college with the main antagonist being Tombstone. You could easily write him having business affiliations with Kingpin to tie into the Daredevil storyline. It’s more simplistic in scope and focuses more on how much things have changed in his life and how he goes about troubles without (in relativity) cracked superheroes to help out
@@MrAlterman1 well at the end of No Way Home when Peter is unpacking his stuff into an apartment, we do see a “GED Test Study Guide” book so assumably he’s gearing up for a community college🤷🏾♂️ but idk it is a bit of a plothole but they’d probably shove it to the side with saying “here’s my birth certificate or social security”😅

I still think it's too early for Miles, unless he's just Miles pre-powers. Same with Venom, I doubt he'll be in this. Personally I want Kingpin / DD, Scorpion, Shocker & Hobgoblin or something
They should have DD and Peter team up against Kingpin for a smaller story. They need to use Charlie Cox and Vincent D while they're young enough for the roles. Give Miles a cameo or post credits introduction and have Miles and Peter team up for the next movie
Peter, Kamala, and Miles meet at a tribute "Starkcon", and Oscorp is displaying the "Venom goop" like a type of nanobots and some how a student (not sure which character) eventually turns into Agent Venom.
Is it too much to ask for a Tom Holland Spiderman where he stands on his own and proves himself as a character that resembles adult Peter Parker from the comics that could solve his problems with his own ingenuity and skills? Let it give him time to prove himself without Stark tech, Avengers assists, and other heroes before setting up another team up. Classic Peter Parker IMHO stood out to people for his inner turmoil and carrying so much weight himself and still being driven by his moral compass. Then Spiderman 5 or 6 could have a team up with another street level hero or have him face the Sinister 6.
the multiverse is a big reason for the bad writing though. it's that and a lot of higher ups making the silliest choices in their attempt to gobble as much money as possible with no care about the movies and the cinematic universe. imagine if you are told to make a movie but then force all these characters and all these events in it, then having to switch that script every time you shoot a scene and on top of that they say lets also make 10 of these sloppy movies and shows per year instead of a few good ones. i'm certain there are plenty writers that are at bare minimum competent and that marvel has the ability to hire the best of them but they aren't focused on making good movies, they are focused on making money, that's why we have the multiverse, so they can exploit our nostalgia, have as many characters from as many movies and franchises. problem is the multiverse setting removes any sense of danger or purpose from the cinematic universe and also makes things much more convoluted and harder to follow, which is compounded further by the extreme amount of movies they released.
@@metalface_villain civil war had lots of characters. Was well written. Good writing could make the stakes high in any setting. The multiverse was well loved in No Way Home. Deadpool and Wolverine is a multiverse film. Made a billion in three weeks.
@@bishopwhite1822 both no way home and deadpool are mid movies heavily relying on nostalgia and the emotional ties other writers build from previous franchises and not good writing. civil war was also not the best even though i liked it but that's irrelevant cuz it's not the many characters that makes the multiverse bad. the multiverse has no stakes, anything can and will happen and it doesn't matter if something goes wrong since we got the same characters an infinite amount of times. going with the multiverse and especially the way they did, just making it a cameo fest and not planning the long run like with the thanos saga was the worst choice they could have made and no ammount of good writers could save it.
@@metalface_villain well you're a minority there. Deadpool and Wolverine and Captain America, Civil War are very popular and successful.
