- I recently did some work on the H2 in my previous episode so now its time to test the modification on the street! Brocks Performance clutch springs, new pads and a Turbosmart blow off valve!! WHOOSH!

How to chav an H2,stick a blow off valve on it.All that is doing is masking the sound of the supercharger chirping which,in my opinion,sounds much better than the hissing sound.Reminds me of a steam train 🚂
I'd rather have the hiss of the new turbosmart blow off valve compared to the crap factory valve that doesn't get rid of the overboost fast enough in braking. It makes the brakes feel wooden and counterproductive, having a motorcycle wishing to accelerate whilst you the rider wants to stop.

Very cool. No doubt great to be out & riding a bike in the sun, especially the H2 in all it's glory. Although never heard a bike make so many random weird & wonderful noises lol.
I was expecting the H2 sound like turbo car of the 90s lol at least people here you coming.
Actually Trevor that's what I expected! Guess it's because superchargers make power even on rollon hence constant boost off throttle

How, you could hear that just the same lol the whistle was nice too, better than the smart actuator imo. The whistle as standard was a little more like a tuned cars actuator, which Mr Chops understands I'm sure as he had a nice RS500 Cossie some years back.
@@HalfdeadRider yeah at 7.20 very briefly it sounds like a whine I like that, the flutter I love. Not 100% keen on the blow off it goes on for to long, if it was a quick woosh like a turbo blow off then it would be great!
@@helmethair4880 I think the manufacturer could change the shape of the exit to improve the sound, it is the same thing as a turbo Actuator/blow of valve/dump valve.

blow off needs to release faster for that proper blow off psshh sound, just sounds like theres puncture or a boost leak as it is atm
That's not how they work with a supercharger. Supercharger is driven by a pulley, so as long as your revs are up, it's making boost - even if you are coasting down the road in gear without using throttle.

Wowsa, it really inhales and exhales, and it delivers! If I had the choice, no matter the vehicle type, I would take the supercharger over turbo any day. As you mention it adds throughout the rev. range, and you don't have to wait for it to arrive at the wheel.

OMG Chop's I had head phones on and it sounded like a bag of cutlery the first time. I turned the volume down and the sound was better.

Yeah to be far sound better in person, sounds louder in the as its close to the helmet mic being under tank. Exhaust sounds louder in person

The BOV was not quite how I’d expect it to sound. All the car ones I’ve heard evacuate the air in a quick whoosh but this seems to be a slow hiss? Hmmm I’m undecided, could get annoying. Still the bike looks fantastic 😎🏍. Bring on the summer.

Put that on throttle vacuum and will be loud all the time. That’s how I have mine.

Oh dear.. Oh dear Chopsy.. I love the modifications on your bikes, BUT that relief valve is Shiiiiiiite, is it adjustable for a short instant high pressure pop??
I understand the reason, but the sound of the aftermarket blow off valve sounds distracting from the original unique sound of the H2, once I get mine I'm almost on the fence about puttin an exhaust on it. I know I'm going too but I still want to hear the chirping pretty good

No doubt when the Mot tester will be over the moon when he gets a impromptu MOT inspection.
I am sure there must be better sounding blow off valve... the hiss is a bit much... try a part whistle or bugle on there 👍

Sorry, but I don't understand the need to fit the blow-off valve? using up to 40hp to power up the SC and then blowing it out on deceleration. Thanks Chops.

Blow off valves do didly squat on supercharged bikes since the supercharger is run of the engine not the exhausts. Blow of valves are for turbochargers to keep them spooled between gear changes. In fact you very well might be robbing yourself of some power.
Maybe increase spring tension in the BOV? just so it isn't a constant HISSS lmao. Its cool, but not for me lol. Great vid as always!
Blow off valve sounds like shaking nails in a glass jar, there no hissing thro the gopro . Sun shining dry roads allowed out the door and ride what more can you want ,

The blow off isn't a good addition. It also makes it run rich when you get back on the throttle. The air has been metered and it's expecting it to run back through the engine. If the air is lost to atmosphere the AFR is rich.

I think the blow of valve isn't set up correctly? If it is set up correctly I would have it removed 😅

Good thing about 240 bhp is that you have a choice of what you want to do with the excess power,, whilst we have the choice,, great show case for the bike,, and the parts,, love that exhaust ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️

Love the supercharger whine but wouldn't be able to get on with that HISS ! Not what I was expecting it to sound like and methinks it would get very annoying after a while, but as long as you enjoy it that's all that matters ;)

AWSOME bike Chops I even like the shhhhh bit although not sure and will never know if it would irritate me a bit after a while .But one thing I am in real doubt about are the two shelves on the front are they really necessary ? .I have watched another channel with an H2 and they aren't on that one mmm I don't like them sorry ! : )
