And my god i was so lost at first lol.

Actually, there probably are a few females and children in the audience. There is nothing barring women and children from seeing the concerts. I've had many female friends go to Hello Project concerts. It's just hard to hear them. It's just the idol culture. These girls aren't trying to be sexy lolita-like characters (more like cute characters). It's just that idols as a rule perform for the opposite sex.
