That's how I felt (INFP female) when I watched this movie with my boyfriend (ENFJ male) but I think he did get a little bored. He kept expecting something else to happen haha. But I loved it because that movie felt like our first date- just talking for hours :)
I rewatched this as soon as I finished watching this the first time (the only other film that did that to me was Amélie). Despite it being my day off, and despite him not attacking me for it at all, I still have my partner a long explanation justifying why it was OK to spend all day watching one film 😆

I'm an INFP and when I was 24 I had this exact thing happen to me on a train ride from California to Utah. I met a really spectacular guy who was headed for Colorado and we hit it off so quickly. He was the most free-spirited person I had ever met. So fearless and confident in living life on his own terms. After 16 hours of talking with him, it was my stop first, and he wanted to get off with me, but instead we just swapped numbers. We had a fling that lasted a few months and met up a few times. It was so exciting. He was planning on moving to Washington state, and wanted me to go with him, but I was really happy at my job in SLC, and so we went our separate paths in life. I'm still friends with him today. We talk from time to time. But he has a family now. Those were some of the most adventurous times being with him, I always wonder what might have happened if we explored the world together like we always talked about... it really was like a movie. That train ride. I'll never forget it.
Infp and enfj is such an explosive combination. There's so much chemistry, connection, playfulness and excitement. But, at the same time, it can turn toxic - if the Enfj isnt flexible, is too needy and blunt. As well as if the infp - is too judgemental, reserved and doesnt share what bothers them. Infp are attracted to enfj ability to storytell and care for their feelings. Enfj are attracted to infp innovative ideas and williness to follow their plans; they also often feel the need to protect them.

This is literally the only type of person I would ever get off a train with to explore a city. He literally did it perfectly, appealing to all my senses, and making me feel comfortable about it. As an INFP I have never met an ENFJ (or at least not that I know of) I really would like to meet one now!
i’m an infp and this just made me really want to be friends with another infp. imagine being on the same wavelength as someone like all the time. that sounds amazing.
I'm also an INFP and I have an INFP bff! She's honestly the bestest friend I have so far. My other best friend is an INFJ, but I feel more connected to the INFP. We are so similar yet so different though. Probably because of our enneagram and past experiences, as well as other factors? She's a 9w1 and I'm a 4w5. We are basically two different subtypes of INFPs lol. If you know Socionics, I think she's an Fi-subtype, and I'm an Ne-subtype, so that's one of the reasons too. The best thing in our friendship I feel is that we can understand the jokes each other make and laugh with each other. Maybe not all the jokes, but I've not known anyone who gets my jokes as much as her I guess. I'm 17 though, so who knows, I'll definitely meet so many more people.
Guess how we met? We were having a school trip and we had to get on the bus. I think I was the last person who got on the bus and I had no one to sit with. My INFJ friend only just knew me not long ago at that time so she sat with someone else whom she knew for a longer time. Okay, so since I was the last one to get on the bus, the bus was really full, and I had to quickly find somewhere to sit and someone to sit with. So I saw an empty seat beside someone at the front, and hence I just took up the courage to ask the girl who was sitting by the window alone if I could sit beside her, and she agreed. She was really quiet at first though. (I am the more talkative one between us.) Like, she barely replied me but then I found out that she was kinda sick haha. But then since we had to partner up, even though we weren't in the same room (because this was planned before), we just talked to each other more and more and we just naturally became really good friends. During the trip, it was mostly her, the INFJ, and I, together. So do something similar to mine, and you might just get to meet another INFP LOL!
I discovered that 2 people in my classroom that I was beginning to befriend were infp (they did the test too). I'm bonding really fast with them hahahah

As an INFP, I have an ENFJ male best friend. He has a girlfriend but sometimes our attraction and energy for one another becomes so intense. He or I have to draw the line because sometimes without either of us trying we have a really awkward “you should be with me” moment. Maybe next lifetime we’ll get the chance.

An ENFJ’s decisiveness and directness are something an INFP needs sometimes as long as they’re not toxic ofc. My last relationship was with an ENFJ and I never felt more save, spontaneous and brave with another person before. I miss them.

Oh my god that was amazing. I had an ENFJ best friend and I kid you not we were extremely compatible. I started falling in love with him but it turned out he was gay, and he trusted me enough to come out to me (first person he ever came out to) and so I didn't make any approach. We were seriously as in tune as these two characters.
I love that enfj's genuinely open up to me 💞💞💞💖💖💞💖💕💓💓. It makes me feel soo good because I feel they are guardian angel for me and I would be very stressed if the friendship was a one way street. They do so much for me just by their gentle guidance and example. And I know the effort they put in💕💕💕✌💖. They are the only ones that see me (without questions or ever needing validation). And the fact that they will break down and let out all the bad shit with me and vent about stuff ...it just really means a lot. Sooo much!!💞💖💕💓. It’s an ENFJ/INFJ thing. They usually have experiences with strangers opening up to them. It must be the combination of giving off loving, trustworthy vibes and yearning for deep conversations.
As an infp guy, i can only dream of this kind of a connection. infp female and enfj male fits the gender stereotypes pretty well. But you reverse the genders of those types and you will find it much more rare a situation to actually capitulate. Unfortunate !

Yes :) dynamic is natural and conversations can be very comfortable Relationships can be intense between that 2 types (but most of us actually enjoy in that too) :)
They do not work well together. They both F-dominants, but both different. Fe-Ti + Ti+Fi pairs tend to misunderstand eachother. The Fe person is aimed at the other a lot and their happyness, and the Fi person is aimed at themselves a lot, which brings an unbalanced potential, where both are concerned about the Fi person, but no one is really caring about the Fe person. Eventually this disbalance breaks the ENFJ. Also 2 feelers in a relationship does not really bring any balance. Both are yin (feminine) functions, which in reality 'friendzones' people a lot . Most F-guys I know have difficulty getting an (F) girlfriend, because they act too feminine. Fe dominants are usually attracted to Ti dominants and Fi dominants to Te dominants...

I can tell from watching ENFJ-INFP interactions that this would be the type of person i’d get along with. But as an INFP woman, i have never met an ENFJ in my life - male or female. None of my friends or acquaintances are ENFJs. Finding an ENFJ guy would be great, but even finding ENFJs to have as friends would be awesome. But where the heck do us INFPs find you guys??!? Lol
I (INFP) had a beautiful summer romance with an ENFJ but then he left me because he didn’t want to get more attached knowing he couldn’t put in the effort for me when I would move an hour away (for grad school) in the winter. I’ve mostly moved on but it still hurts 2 months later knowing that something beautiful ended so quickly. And he never reached out since. the ease of the conversation in this video reminds me of my conversations with my ENFJ. Our connection was so sweet and romantic. He was really caring and protective towards my safety. We couldn’t take our hands off each other - cuddling in the grass, under a tree with the sunlight peeking through, sitting in his lap, piggyback rides, carrying me bridal style. Spending an entire day at the museum. Swinging on the park swings and skipping stones in the lake. Sharing our smoothies as we cuddled and kissed while listening to live music. Going on a hike together. Hooking up in the forest where our ancestors used to do it. Our conversations on childhood memories, dreams, ambitions, trauma, travelling, philosophy, and nature. I wish he could have been that guy for me. I wonder if he realizes that a connection like this is rare to come across. Unfortunately, I can’t beg for someone to choose me or love me. He wasn’t ready for commitment. Sometimes the MBTI golden pairings can fizzle out just as quickly as they started if it’s an intense emotional and physical connection. One day I would love to find an ENFJ man again who is not afraid of commitment or inconvenience. Sometimes I wish it could be him, but I won’t wait for him. I was mostly mourning the potential of us anyway. I’ll always look back at our summer memories with fondness, but I’m moving forward.
I think the honest truth is that the reason people like the 'ENFJ Energy' and 'ENFJ Manipulation' is simply because it is authentic. It's the fact that these people truly exist that gives conmen the facade that works. So like yeah, ENFJs are going to 'convince' you. But even if you figure it out, you'll see that their intent is pure, and therefore charming. It's a win/win.

INFP and I felt myself giggle whenever she giggled, and she acted in a way that I would act in that situation. I feel like the girl knew he was manipulating her, like she already knows this tactic, but she goes with him because she was already hooked in with him before he even tried to convince her to leave. As dreamers that little fun interaction was enough to continue replaying through the rest of her journey alone. She already dreamed of a scenario where he picked her or she ran to him to continue the conversation but didn't act on the fantasy because it might be perceived as weird and clingy. So when he comes back to try and convince her, she already knows that she wants to go with him. The rest of the conversation/manipulation was just to test him and was an effort to seem unattached and cool. I know I'm reading into it too much, but as an INFP I've done this to people I loved talking to. Like she mostly knows what kind of guy he is when they first talked, so she isn't too worried about him being a bad person.

Just so you know, I loved these dialogues so much I ended up watching the movie and the sequels when I usually don't watch romantic movies. And it was so authentic and cute! It reminds me of my relationship me being an INFP and my partner being ENFJ. When we met we actually spend entire nights just walking and talking about ideas, it was pure magic. I was in a relationship at the time and ended up breaking the friendship because it was too intense and a hug would feel like a burst of feelings. But I would always think I'd meet this ENFJ again and regain contact even if just to be friends. Then a whole year passed and I decided I needed to act or I would just wonder what would have happened, and then we started talking again and ended up being together up until now (for 3 years). I really loved this film because it brought all these memories back so I'm really grateful I discovered this. Thank you!
I'm an INFP guy with an ENFJ partner. Definitely the conversational synergy drew me in and made me move in with her in about a week. Her visceral imagination is also very visual, and can relate so many different things together. Our mutual love of conceptual thinking was a big draw. ENFJ is more the initiating Yang personality to the INFP yin. It's probably more common for the man to be ENFJ and woman INFP, and more classically romantic to see it in a movie scenario. *Sometimes* it's hard to get a word in edgewise. Lol
@@_MarianaSilva_ You didnt ask me, but I thought it might interest you: I, an infp, dated an enfj. Also for a short period of time. It was fun, but there were a lot of misunderstandings. He was also very insecure with himself and couldnt deal with the fact, that I wasnt. It was all just chaotic towards the end. I believe that mbti can tell one how well one is going to get along with others, but in the end, if the values are not aligned and communication is off, even the best connections crumble.
This is really funnily accurate. I love traveling solo (female INFP btw) and while I usually don't approach people first, I find it interesting and charming to go along with others who approach me first. Probably the craziest thing I've ever done in that regard was go on a day long road trip with a French-Indian grandpa I had met on a bus from Bulgaria to Macedonia. He randomly set next to me, kept talking to me and engaging me into all these stories. I remember being silently amused by how much he was talking and talking and showing me pictures of his close friends and his wife and I think my face pretty much looked like the girl's from that movie. Charmed but somewhat indulgent in face of his outgoing energy. When he heard where I was going next, he was like: Hey, I've reserved a rental car, I could totally take you there, mind if I tag along? In the beginning I was a bit apprehensive, but then I was like: Why not? It was somewhat strange, but it was an amazing feeling to step out of my comfort zone and I've come to really enjoy the feeling of just going along with crazy and adventurous ideas.
I'm an INFP and enjoy the company of ENFJS. I also experienced the manipulation/toxicity of an ENFJ romantic relationship, so it wasn't healthy for me personally. As with any relationship, it works best if both parties are conscious.

I’m an infp male. I have a question to infp girls out there. Is it just as hard for y’all finding relationships. Because I feel like there’s still a deep seated social contract in our society that says that a man is supposed to approach the girl first not the other way around. It’s not hard for me to talk to girls, but it is hard for me starting a conversation with them first since I find small talk extremely mundane (especially if someone’s not making an effort to keep the conversation going and I have to be the one to keep asking questions) but it’s not like you can go up to strangers and be like, “what’s on your mind” and legitimately mean it. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me. This comment went on longer than I meant for it lol
I'm recently divorced and haven't really been looking but here's my two cents. I think online dating can be hard for INFPs, the rejection without an opportunity to meet someone or when matches drift off. I'm looking for a feeling dominant, empathetic guy and that's hard as they all seem taken. 60% of men don't believe in feminism, as an infp social worker (who doesn't want kids) that really limits my options. When I was in a group with Males they were cutting eachother with "banter", got upset and I felt like their psychologist. They wanted empathy but weren't sensitive to others. I feel society discouraging emotions makes it harder to connect with men with dating. I don't know where to go to find men in person. I'd be awkward with stranger small talk but if I found someone attractive who asked for a conversation then I'd feel I can emotionally allocate time instead of this is a stranger talking, get away before it's awkward.
It's hard for INFPs but even harder for you INFP men I suppose. Like how do you know if someone just isn't interested or if they are just expecting you to make the moves. That's unfair. Problem for me is that I don't care much about small talk either but I keep it there (for too long) because you know I'm a private INFP.
Recently found out I am an ENFJ. For the longest time, I thought I was an INFP or INFJ. Now that I know the truth, it’s so funny and warming to continually find videos that further confirm my identity as an ENFJ like this one. On the 16 personalities is says “INFPs are notoriously hard to get to know” so a little of it could be your personality. I am also an INFP and I can easily have a deep conversation with my best friends but not so much the ones I haven’t known for as long

omg this sort of happened to me a few times! being INFP, now wondering what are the chances those guys were actually ENFJ... in one case we ended up travelling together and exploring two cities in 3 days with a guy my friends and I met randomly in a train... it was crazy but so perfect and it's one of my happiest and saddest memories simultaneously as it was really hard for me to say goodbye in the end! :(
Apparently I'm INFP-T... First things first, I admit in finding Jesse charming, especially on how he keeps the conversation flowing with Celine...but I can't say that all of the ENFJ traits presented here are appealing to me. Of course, having a certain personality type doesn't and shouldn't automatically mean that you should adhere to the supposed characteristics of said personality. But I feel kinda left out when reading the other comments...lol. For me, if I ever got the chance to be in a 'personal ideal relationship', the ff. traits would be appealing to me: -More extroverted than I am...maybe more adventurous and knows how to carry a conversation (maybe because I kinda lack in that area XP) -Respects my boundaries -Is not too persistent...this is a particular thing I am bugged with because I don't really like when someone tries to convice me too much with something, especially when I discern that it is something I don't and won't like -Not manipulative...probs back then I wouldn't know if someone is manipulating me, but recently I've learned to be more aware of myself and how people see and act towards me...let's say I kinda develop some bit of 'trust issue' -Kinda chill as well..like they won't say no in having some quiet time. Since I'm still technically young, I don't focus too much on having relationship or knowing what dynamic I should have...right now, I am more worried about having money in the future...lol.

what are you talking about lol, this whole video is wrong, 'cause he is ENTP, maybe you confused him because of his w8 enneagram, that makes him look a little "social-bossy", but you can notice his Ne just by the way he started flirting with her, the way he came with all those ideas and abstract concepts (plus, random humor use to be more Ne than Ni) and his Fe definitely can't be dominant with such a low knowledge about people's feelings and social convenience. His Ti is pretty obvious, specially when it comes to ask about the logical part of all the things she said. His inferior Si is huge af, he even say like four times in the movie: "organization is not my best quality" (something like that, i can't remember the exact same words). But she is INFP indeed, that one is correct.
I beliece ENFJs are some kind of booster for INFPs. Cuz they have everyrhing that INFP adores but shy or scared to do. As an INFP woman I will definietly fall for a man like that. Someone who is open about his feelings and lives in the moment. I like him to drag me around, create little adventures, I like him to talk to me. Just talk. That conversation was great. From watching this video I've realized that my last relationship was with an ENFJ guy (and I am an INFP girl). The relationship ended because of some really bad choices on his end, and he ended up hurting me a lot. However even though he did some things thats hard to forgive (because he would probably do it again with little remorse) I still find myself missing him. He was so charming, especially to me.

I'm an INFP and when I was 24 I had this exact thing happen to me on a train ride from California to Utah. I met a really spectacular guy who was headed for Colorado and we hit it off so quickly. He was the most free-spirited person I had ever met. So fearless and confident in living life on his own terms. After 16 hours of talking with him, it was my stop first, and he wanted to get off with me, but instead we just swapped numbers. We had a fling that lasted a few months and met up a few times. It was so exciting. He was planning on moving to Washington state, and wanted me to go with him, but I was really happy at my job in SLC, and so we went our separate paths in life. I'm still friends with him today. We talk from time to time. But he has a family now. Those were some of the most adventurous times being with him, I always wonder what might have happened if we explored the world together like we always talked about... it really was like a movie. That train ride. I'll never forget it.

Infp and enfj is such an explosive combination. There's so much chemistry, connection, playfulness and excitement. But, at the same time, it can turn toxic - if the Enfj isnt flexible, is too needy and blunt. As well as if the infp - is too judgemental, reserved and doesnt share what bothers them.

i’m an infp and this just made me really want to be friends with another infp. imagine being on the same wavelength as someone like all the time. that sounds amazing.
I'm also an INFP and I have an INFP bff! She's honestly the bestest friend I have so far. My other best friend is an INFJ, but I feel more connected to the INFP. We are so similar yet so different though. Probably because of our enneagram and past experiences, as well as other factors? She's a 9w1 and I'm a 4w5. We are basically two different subtypes of INFPs lol. If you know Socionics, I think she's an Fi-subtype, and I'm an Ne-subtype, so that's one of the reasons too. The best thing in our friendship I feel is that we can understand the jokes each other make and laugh with each other. Maybe not all the jokes, but I've not known anyone who gets my jokes as much as her I guess. I'm 17 though, so who knows, I'll definitely meet so many more people.
Guess how we met? We were having a school trip and we had to get on the bus. I think I was the last person who got on the bus and I had no one to sit with. My INFJ friend only just knew me not long ago at that time so she sat with someone else whom she knew for a longer time. Okay, so since I was the last one to get on the bus, the bus was really full, and I had to quickly find somewhere to sit and someone to sit with. So I saw an empty seat beside someone at the front, and hence I just took up the courage to ask the girl who was sitting by the window alone if I could sit beside her, and she agreed. She was really quiet at first though. (I am the more talkative one between us.) Like, she barely replied me but then I found out that she was kinda sick haha. But then since we had to partner up, even though we weren't in the same room (because this was planned before), we just talked to each other more and more and we just naturally became really good friends. During the trip, it was mostly her, the INFJ, and I, together. So do something similar to mine, and you might just get to meet another INFP LOL!

Oh my god that was amazing. I had an ENFJ best friend and I kid you not we were extremely compatible. I started falling in love with him but it turned out he was gay, and he trusted me enough to come out to me (first person he ever came out to) and so I didn't make any approach. We were seriously as in tune as these two characters.

Relationships can be intense between that 2 types (but most of us actually enjoy in that too) :)
They do not work well together. They both F-dominants, but both different. Fe-Ti + Ti+Fi pairs tend to misunderstand eachother. The Fe person is aimed at the other a lot and their happyness, and the Fi person is aimed at themselves a lot, which brings an unbalanced potential, where both are concerned about the Fi person, but no one is really caring about the Fe person. Eventually this disbalance breaks the ENFJ. Also 2 feelers in a relationship does not really bring any balance. Both are yin (feminine) functions, which in reality 'friendzones' people a lot . Most F-guys I know have difficulty getting an (F) girlfriend, because they act too feminine. Fe dominants are usually attracted to Ti dominants and Fi dominants to Te dominants...

I (INFP) had a beautiful summer romance with an ENFJ but then he left me because he didn’t want to get more attached knowing he couldn’t put in the effort for me when I would move an hour away (for grad school) in the winter. I’ve mostly moved on but it still hurts 2 months later knowing that something beautiful ended so quickly. And he never reached out since. the ease of the conversation in this video reminds me of my conversations with my ENFJ. Our connection was so sweet and romantic. He was really caring and protective towards my safety. We couldn’t take our hands off each other - cuddling in the grass, under a tree with the sunlight peeking through, sitting in his lap, piggyback rides, carrying me bridal style. Spending an entire day at the museum. Swinging on the park swings and skipping stones in the lake. Sharing our smoothies as we cuddled and kissed while listening to live music. Going on a hike together. Hooking up in the forest where our ancestors used to do it. Our conversations on childhood memories, dreams, ambitions, trauma, travelling, philosophy, and nature. I wish he could have been that guy for me. I wonder if he realizes that a connection like this is rare to come across. Unfortunately, I can’t beg for someone to choose me or love me. He wasn’t ready for commitment. Sometimes the MBTI golden pairings can fizzle out just as quickly as they started if it’s an intense emotional and physical connection. One day I would love to find an ENFJ man again who is not afraid of commitment or inconvenience. Sometimes I wish it could be him, but I won’t wait for him. I was mostly mourning the potential of us anyway. I’ll always look back at our summer memories with fondness, but I’m moving forward.

I think the honest truth is that the reason people like the 'ENFJ Energy' and 'ENFJ Manipulation' is simply because it is authentic. It's the fact that these people truly exist that gives conmen the facade that works. So like yeah, ENFJs are going to 'convince' you. But even if you figure it out, you'll see that their intent is pure, and therefore charming. It's a win/win.

I feel like the girl knew he was manipulating her, like she already knows this tactic, but she goes with him because she was already hooked in with him before he even tried to convince her to leave. As dreamers that little fun interaction was enough to continue replaying through the rest of her journey alone. She already dreamed of a scenario where he picked her or she ran to him to continue the conversation but didn't act on the fantasy because it might be perceived as weird and clingy.
So when he comes back to try and convince her, she already knows that she wants to go with him. The rest of the conversation/manipulation was just to test him and was an effort to seem unattached and cool.
I know I'm reading into it too much, but as an INFP I've done this to people I loved talking to. Like she mostly knows what kind of guy he is when they first talked, so she isn't too worried about him being a bad person.

Just so you know, I loved these dialogues so much I ended up watching the movie and the sequels when I usually don't watch romantic movies. And it was so authentic and cute! It reminds me of my relationship me being an INFP and my partner being ENFJ. When we met we actually spend entire nights just walking and talking about ideas, it was pure magic. I was in a relationship at the time and ended up breaking the friendship because it was too intense and a hug would feel like a burst of feelings. But I would always think I'd meet this ENFJ again and regain contact even if just to be friends. Then a whole year passed and I decided I needed to act or I would just wonder what would have happened, and then we started talking again and ended up being together up until now (for 3 years). I really loved this film because it brought all these memories back so I'm really grateful I discovered this. Thank you!

He was also very insecure with himself and couldnt deal with the fact, that I wasnt. It was all just chaotic towards the end. I believe that mbti can tell one how well one is going to get along with others, but in the end, if the values are not aligned and communication is off, even the best connections crumble.

This is really funnily accurate. I love traveling solo (female INFP btw) and while I usually don't approach people first, I find it interesting and charming to go along with others who approach me first. Probably the craziest thing I've ever done in that regard was go on a day long road trip with a French-Indian grandpa I had met on a bus from Bulgaria to Macedonia. He randomly set next to me, kept talking to me and engaging me into all these stories. I remember being silently amused by how much he was talking and talking and showing me pictures of his close friends and his wife and I think my face pretty much looked like the girl's from that movie. Charmed but somewhat indulgent in face of his outgoing energy. When he heard where I was going next, he was like: Hey, I've reserved a rental car, I could totally take you there, mind if I tag along? In the beginning I was a bit apprehensive, but then I was like: Why not? It was somewhat strange, but it was an amazing feeling to step out of my comfort zone and I've come to really enjoy the feeling of just going along with crazy and adventurous ideas.
I'm an INFP and enjoy the company of ENFJS. I also experienced the manipulation/toxicity of an ENFJ romantic relationship, so it wasn't healthy for me personally. As with any relationship, it works best if both parties are conscious.

I have this kind of relationship now. me (INFP) and my wife(ENFJ). We always have that conversation not just about ourselves but also to people around us. I'm always the one who tells her what I observed and what my thoughts are about.
Gotta say, great taste in scenes with interpersonal dialogue. Within minutes she's telling him that her life is full of bubbling ambitious ideas and he is saying that's exactly what he has been looking for-- but he won't encourage no downer ideas with your story of old married misery. Get on the Merry-Go-Round, so named as to cure grumpy children.
As an INTJ, this was very interesting to watch. I have best friends who are ENFJs and INFPs and I love them all.

I’m an infp male. I have a question to infp girls out there. Is it just as hard for y’all finding relationships. Because I feel like there’s still a deep seated social contract in our society that says that a man is supposed to approach the girl first not the other way around. It’s not hard for me to talk to girls, but it is hard for me starting a conversation with them first since I find small talk extremely mundane (especially if someone’s not making an effort to keep the conversation going and I have to be the one to keep asking questions) but it’s not like you can go up to strangers and be like, “what’s on your mind” and legitimately mean it. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me. This comment went on longer than I meant for it lol
I'm recently divorced and haven't really been looking but here's my two cents. I think online dating can be hard for INFPs, the rejection without an opportunity to meet someone or when matches drift off.
I'm looking for a feeling dominant, empathetic guy and that's hard as they all seem taken. 60% of men don't believe in feminism, as an infp social worker (who doesn't want kids) that really limits my options. When I was in a group with Males they were cutting eachother with "banter", got upset and I felt like their psychologist. They wanted empathy but weren't sensitive to others. I feel society discouraging emotions makes it harder to connect with men with dating.
I don't know where to go to find men in person. I'd be awkward with stranger small talk but if I found someone attractive who asked for a conversation then I'd feel I can emotionally allocate time instead of this is a stranger talking, get away before it's awkward.
It's hard for INFPs but even harder for you INFP men I suppose. Like how do you know if someone just isn't interested or if they are just expecting you to make the moves. That's unfair. Problem for me is that I don't care much about small talk either but I keep it there (for too long) because you know I'm a private INFP.

On the 16 personalities is says “INFPs are notoriously hard to get to know” so a little of it could be your personality. I am also an INFP and I can easily have a deep conversation with my best friends but not so much the ones I haven’t known for as long

omg this sort of happened to me a few times! being INFP, now wondering what are the chances those guys were actually ENFJ... in one case we ended up travelling together and exploring two cities in 3 days with a guy my friends and I met randomly in a train... it was crazy but so perfect and it's one of my happiest and saddest memories simultaneously as it was really hard for me to say goodbye in the end! :(

First things first, I admit in finding Jesse charming, especially on how he keeps the conversation flowing with Celine...but I can't say that all of the ENFJ traits presented here are appealing to me. Of course, having a certain personality type doesn't and shouldn't automatically mean that you should adhere to the supposed characteristics of said personality. But I feel kinda left out when reading the other comments...lol.
For me, if I ever got the chance to be in a 'personal ideal relationship', the ff. traits would be appealing to me:
-More extroverted than I am...maybe more adventurous and knows how to carry a conversation (maybe because I kinda lack in that area XP)
-Respects my boundaries
-Is not too persistent...this is a particular thing I am bugged with because I don't really like when someone tries to convice me too much with something, especially when I discern that it is something I don't and won't like
-Not manipulative...probs back then I wouldn't know if someone is manipulating me, but recently I've learned to be more aware of myself and how people see and act towards me...let's say I kinda develop some bit of 'trust issue'
-Kinda chill as well..like they won't say no in having some quiet time.
Since I'm still technically young, I don't focus too much on having relationship or knowing what dynamic I should have...right now, I am more worried about having money in the future...lol.

I always wondered why this film resonates with me. I would totally do what this guy did. I’m such an ENFJ lol and she is my type.
what are you talking about lol, this whole video is wrong, 'cause he is ENTP, maybe you confused him because of his w8 enneagram, that makes him look a little "social-bossy", but you can notice his Ne just by the way he started flirting with her, the way he came with all those ideas and abstract concepts (plus, random humor use to be more Ne than Ni) and his Fe definitely can't be dominant with such a low knowledge about people's feelings and social convenience. His Ti is pretty obvious, specially when it comes to ask about the logical part of all the things she said. His inferior Si is huge af, he even say like four times in the movie: "organization is not my best quality" (something like that, i can't remember the exact same words).
But she is INFP indeed, that one is correct.

I beliece ENFJs are some kind of booster for INFPs. Cuz they have everyrhing that INFP adores but shy or scared to do. As an INFP woman I will definietly fall for a man like that. Someone who is open about his feelings and lives in the moment. I like him to drag me around, create little adventures, I like him to talk to me. Just talk. That conversation was great. I love everything about ENFJs, they give me positive energy for days, no matter how depressed I am.
I'm an ENFJ and I manipulate my friends to eat sweets with me by describing every part of it as in visually and in taste.
From watching this video I've realized that my last relationship was with an ENFJ guy (and I am an INFP girl). The relationship ended because of some really bad choices on his end, and he ended up hurting me a lot. However even though he did some things thats hard to forgive (because he would probably do it again with little remorse) I still find myself missing him. He was so charming, especially to me.
