The common causes of Precocious Puberty include these :- => Idiopathic (90 % ) => CNS abnormalities (10 % ) ( Tumors , Obstruction to CSF outflow , Granulomatous , Infectious diseases , Neurofibromatosis , Head trauma )
What about the common side effects of the drugs that treat this? -weight gain. -Depression. -early sexuality. -Headaches. -Rashes. -tiredness. -Difficulty Sleeping. And there are also long-term side effects. Is it really worth it for a fee more inches and not taking them to therapy where they could gain life-long helping skills?
My daughter first had signs of precocious puberty at 2 yrs 10 months. She is now 4 yrs old and had her first injections of lupron depo today (6 month injection) up until now I haven’t done much research on this medication, I just know my daughter is growing way too fast and I trust her endocrinologist. But I’m completely terrified of these side affects, especially long term. It was a difficult thing to put her through. She is a twin born at 26 weeks ( you read that right) and in just 4 years she’s in the 99% tile for both height and weight. I don’t want this medication to change who my baby is but I don’t want her body and mind changing sooner than it’s supposed to. I hope I made the right choice and it doesn’t have negative consequences later in life. But I also felt like it was our only option.
What about the long term side effects when it comes to reproduction? Or even the short term side effects? I think worrying about height is pretty low on the importance scale.
@@CaioDanielNunesSantos It is a problem if an individual wants to have kids, but their parents made a decision that potentially creates complications that has negative effects that prevent them from achieving something they want. You're are correct, being childless is not a problem. However I would argue you are not representative of all little girls or grown wemon. What you find important or not important is more probable than not different than what they find important or not important.
@@jaydeeao Yes, you are right. I don't really think it is possible for any parent or healthcare worker to decide the things that would be better for me. My puberty started at 9 years old and it was horrible for me. So horrible that it would be better for me to never had started puberty. My problems that were caused by puberty are things that no one thinks as being problems because no one thinks men have problems. I am very hairy, my head is bald, my muscles are very bulked and my voice is very deep like the voice of a monster. Puberty made me become a man and I hate being a man. No one wanted to help me.
My daughter was diagnosed at age 3, now 18. I desperately want to understand how these chemicals have affected her brain development, social and emotional development, and mental health. She doesn't remember the majority of her childhood, and now struggles with mental health. Began as she quit the blockers to let nature take it's course. Any directions to look are appreciated.

Pausing puberty does not cause early sexuality. Early puberty does.

Reproduction is not important. Only parents care about having grandchildren. Being childless is not a problem.

It doesn't necessarily cause infertility. It depends on the dosage. 50 ibuprofens will kill you, but not two.
