I've got a 1972 220 sitting in my garage. Your car has a nice interior but it looks like all the rubber seals need replacing. That alone will cost a fortune. They aren't cheap. The headlamps on American cars are totally different to yours.
The rear bumpers were the same on pre and post facelift 4 cylinders but yes the lights are from a pre-face, we also had the ribbed lights here on facelifts.
Lovely old girl, keep it , do it up slowly, find correct rear lights, remove the Beeding at rear, buff up paint, and in 2 years time it will be worth double than today. As long as body is not rotten, you got a winner.
So good for you Miss!
Nice! Gorgeous color for a 115. Will look great when finished and that lack of smoke is huge.
The noise when you close the door is the sound of good, old fashioned, German quality...wonderful.
Wow !! Not being made like this anymore .. .. .. ..
No they don’t.

Beautiful wheels to be cruising in/on/with/whichever way - but great nonetheless!
I’m confused about the tail lights, it seems to be from an older model?
Yes a pre-facelift w115
Nice karretjie daai.
A very nice project car for someone.
Keep those Benzies running fellas
I had a 114 230.6. Fantastic car to drive . Real Seats
Did SA W115 still use the pre facelift rear lights and bumper?
Rear lights are from pre facelift
