How are you splitting your time with each of your kids with their learning??

They take turns. With some things they double up, other things we do all together, and some things are one on one.

We started All About Spelling this year for my 1st grader and we love it!! She is already a great reader but we wanted to really teach her the rules of spelling and this is a wonderful curriculum! Her placement test for AA Spelling is at level 4 so we will pick that up soon! So excited! It's my absolute fave curriculum since I started homeschooling!

Hi Beth , I've been watching your videos as I am planning to make the switch to homeschool with my 7 year old son. You have been very helpful so thank you!
I'm a bit confused when it comes to choosing curriculum. I've noticed that there are many types of curriculums that are specific to learning a skill such as reading, spelling, writing vs ones that encompass all of those under one curriculum. For example you mentioned using both the 5 in a Row curriculum and then also the All about reading curriculum. Would it be easier to choose a curriculum that covers "Language Arts" as a whole instead of having to buy separate curriculum for the different parts of Language Arts such as spelling, writing, Reading etc?
There are also curriculums really for any subject out there, Art, History, etc.. so do you just pick and choose the ones that you want your child to learn? I'm trying to put together a list of curriculums I like and I guess I'm just not sure which subjects are to be covered.
I hope my question made sense, I'm still trying to figure how this all works out so sorry if I was not very clear.

Celeste, this is such an incredible question that I’m going to do a livestream and talk all about this!
