I had McAfee. When my computer stopped working, I used a different scanner and found over 2,000 trojans and other malware on my machine. It was terrible for me.
💀
yep... gotta watch for shit online thats *paid* to be suggested rather that being suggested because it's good... in the context of online services
💀
I was on a free trial for the AVG multi-device protection, but received no notice from AVG when it was about to expire. On Jul 2, 2023, they sent me an email saying that my bank card declined their attempt to process payment for $77.99. Yes, in late June I deactivated my card since it got wet and wasn't working properly, and got a new card. I then emailed AVG on July 2, stating that I did not receive notification from them that my free trial was expiring, and that I changed my bank card, and did NOT authorize them to bill me. In spite of my very clear words, AVG went around my back, and managed to get my new bank card number from a third party online, and processed the transaction, even though I had specifically told them not to. This is devious and unethical. I will never use AVG again.
Avg and siris xm radio change the credit cards without asking.
I'd like a video based just on security aspects, not features. But of course, great video!
Eset, Sophos, F-Secure, Emsisoft just to name a few, which should at least have been included in the AV comparison. Furthermore the ratings are rather subjective. Actual 0-day malware samples being put to the test, the ability to recover after an infection etc.. are a more quantitative measure. Likewise for the percentage of blocked phishing links etc..
so what do you recommend?>
@@adriangordankaspersky if you don't live in EU... Otherwise bitdefender but their vpn is not that great and few 300mb extra ram consumption but does not affect performance
did you find any youtube video that does these?
@@adriangordan I have used bitdefender but prefer eset. Bitdefender has capped vpn but eset has unlimited.
Not to mention TotalAV :)
I'm currently looking for antivirus programs so this was a good reference. And though I'm not interested in McAfee, I don't understand why you referred to a report about them that is dated in 2013. I used to use Norton all the time. So, leaning that way. Though BitDefender is also a contender.
Thanks for the video!
I have had mcafee for about 5 months… recently my PC got really slow. Im thinking of transferring to Kaspersky, anyone has it? Do you think it will solve my PC slowness?
TY for the video, What do you think of TotalAV
What anti-virus software just does what it is supposed to do without input from the user?
thank you for the info.
not sure how i feel because norton itself has been labled as a virus forever and was horribly know to do things on your PC without ur permission.
For those who are unaware, this is basically a paid ad, not a real review
That's exactly what i thought, but decided to read th ecoments to do some insight on his audience.,, i'm not saying he's playin us, but like someone said he's way to enthusiastic in a sus way.. lol
Can you please give your insight about Trend Micro AV ? Which tier it belongs as per your opinion ?
s
As far as my experience with it, it seems to be checked in a very extreme judgmental way, which gives it a very high detection rate, but in fact, it is very prone to misjudgment, and it seems to be very popular in Southeast Asia
I like Avira, it's pretty nice.
Why you never show trendmicro antivirus ?
good video but in my opionon norton is not that good. Im a norton user and it has good features but protecting your system.... not that good compared to other softwares like kaspersky
I think it’s not just a problem because of the recent events in Russia. I think it’s a problem for any security company that are not located at your home country or/and follow the laws and the rules of your home country in my case USA.
Thanks for posting this video it make it easier for me to decide which program to buy
for me the one and only Antivirus is Avast, it has many features, is very protective and easy to use. What u want more?
..What about eset? I use it and i never had a virus.
23 years with Kaspersky, nothing is better.
Witch version of it do you use.
Is the $80 worth it?
The way you pronounce Kaspersky made me die a little inside
What about Eset?
Pls review about Trend Micro antivirus?
Loved it, how about nod32?
It shit
Is this guy an expert, or is it just an enthusiast for RUclips?
leave the poor guy read the script 😀
Which features are limited for kaspersky?
Longest list of countries where it was blacklisted.
64 bits protection
Total Battle videos?
Bitdefender 1.
Actually its moved to Switzerland now
Another sales channel. have a look at which affiliate links pay the most and you will see why those products are Top rated by all the affiliates!
It seems all the VPN affiliates are branching out to antivirus now as companies are offering more money for each sale they get.
You can not trust reviews or recommendations that are only based on how much a person will make - if you watch all the other affiliate advertising channels you will see they have different deals and all say different things. The products are not reviewed on any technical basis or if tests were run, they would all give the same results.
Another tip top cyber vid from Jack Wilshere..... we gonna win the league Jack!
Guys anyone knows how to prevent antivirus from shutting down on Android? Even excluding it from battery optimization didn't help. Thanks
If android system WebView app or play services updates then antivirus on Android stops working momentarily but may need restarted manually by opening the app.
how about cromebooks
you forgot to review Total AV, one of the excellent Antiviruses
Norton is good but are extremely tricky on Billing. Your Menu will show all sorts of extra stuff with no pricing, it just says FREE TRIAL. Then Norton will deduct double, triple, or more from your Bank Account after the 30 60 or 90 days. Almost impossible to find details and cancel those 'extras'. Don't even think about getting them on the Phone or getting your money back. Think about that before you click on anything.....
Kaspersky has been the bestest among all ! I wud rate 10/10, then bitdefender in second position,
these conclusions are so BS that it's hard to blive that this isn't sponsored
"Kas -per-SKY"
LOL
I switched from norton because of the adds and when I installed Avast free version avast found 1300 viruses and trojans and malware
lmao liar
Just based on avtest and you'll be fine. We have our own opinion
Bit defender is now a big recurse hog
Yeah why doesn't anyone review Sophos?
Sophos is trash.
I wonder why ESET was not included in the list.
Anyways still excellent information.❤
ESET product is shit
Malwarebytes couldn't even detect a ransomware, it's the worst for a free version antivirus
OMG Tuboo you still alive
Bitdefender is better than excepted my favorite
Avast scored better than Norton on av-test yet you scored it as "not terrible". I guess we know who's payroll you're on!
Norton has been proven to pay to be suggested quite a bit on search engines when you look for antiviruses...
Kaspersky Internet Security is best.
Is Antivirus even a thing today? Isn't modern operating systems made more robust?
In my experience the problem is most often the user - and that can't be made up by installing more software.
Kasper Sky, hilarious. And Avira a meme, come on..
What does that mean? Kaspersky is the best, no?
@@gabfaure2868 no its russian software
bro enough with Kasper SKy, its Kaspersky. really???
i like COMODO Antivirus free and no ads
Norton is paying 😅
too much drama
This is dumb: for everyday protection, detection *and* removal, Kapersky's the best, Bitdefender a close second, Avira a close third, the new Malwarebytes looking promising, and Eset an honorable mention. Nothing else is worth bothering with.
Kaspersky is the best and don’t bother with anything else seriously…. It’s the best one
The best antivirus for PC is Kaspersky, but for the protection of mobile devices I would still prefer Bitdefender antivirus. I tested both, Bitdefender found what Kaspersky missed.
Antivirus is not enough, you need PROTOGENT.
Insta close video when paid to reccomend Norton as #1, what bullcrap. It's also pronounced Kasper ski not Kasper Skye
I'm good with just windows defender, all those are a gimmick and waste of time and money unless u run looking for viruses yourself 🤦🏻♂️
For average internet user who does not use pirated stuff, it's the best
Comment..Comment..
man you look like terminator enemy T-1000
Kasperski is russian software, use on your own risk
Kaspersky*
for me kaspersky is the best
Russian shiller
Why that? Not the first time i see this. Im looking for one.
I don't trust the Russkies
@@gabfaure2868 My friend had a lot of system files infected and cryptominer that turned off itself when he turned on the task manager. he installed kaspersky free and it repaired everything. thats why i think that kaspersky is the best.
They sent me an email asking to verify my identity and want me to send them a photo of my drivers license.
Norton cryptominer on top, what a joke
Emsisoft Ever !!! Number 1...
Absolutely agree!! Emsisoft is WAY Better than ALL of these.
@@SonOfJoy Antimalware, its behavior blocker, the ease of managing the machines through the Emsisoft panel and especially the support that is efficient in solving problems with quick solutions make Emsisoft my choice I have been using Emsisoft for years and I have never been disappointed in several problems that I had with my clients.
@@SonOfJoy Emsisoft have Bitdefender engine
@@TheHobbitmannyeah but it also has another engine for PUPs

Mcafee is the worst program I have used so far. Among other things I won't go into here, I just want to express my disappointment satisfaction with their tech department, which, for me, is in Mexico? How is that good? Mcafee has a built-in VPN, which is what enticed me to get it, so I didn't have two programs slowing things down. It doesn't work for all websites I'm on. RUclips won't allow me to place a comment while it's on. This action isn't allowed!! That is what it says. I'm going back to Norton. Also, when I called to complain about their Tech. I got a very nice Asian lady. Who could barely speak English. What's going on with this world? No one speaks English anymore?
Does this guy have a single clue what he's talking about?
Lol
Avoid Norton and McAfee and get your self real protection Kaspersky is the best
Norton , excellent , what a joke.. Kaspersky is way better
I wouldn't use Kaspersky now with the Russian situation. Try BitDefender.
Kaspersky is the best compared to Bitdefender?
Kaspersky is the best.
I: ESET give me my money back, your product is crap!
ESET: ...
NORTON is the WORST of the WORST !!!
unsubcribed..
Kaspersky best
@@S.S.S759 Kaspersky is the best compared to Bitdefender?
@@gabfaure2868yes...
@@gabfaure2868in terms of idle ram and vpn. Protectionwise both are good.
Kaspersky has more proactive measure using its KSN while Bitdefender is more on reactive side when it comes to downloading malicious files
Best antivirus is a Mac.
lmao
Yeah, my iPhone 12 just got hacked, just like my computer back in the late 2000. I’ve learned my lesson Now makeing sure I anti virus on everything.
1. U have a code for Norton, that makes u money. So naturaly u speak about Norton first+rate it the highest. Norton! Hehe, lets keep encrypting: u dont bother to find out how to say Kaspersky, instead say "Kasper Sky". Kaspersky is not a slavic name, but its a word made from 2 English words: "Casper", they chose a "K" though for... reasons. And "Sky". Its from Russia, surely its pronounced "Casper Sky". ✅️ But be careful, "Casper Sky" was rated a 10/10. It was never in the news for links to any gov (unlike US software and Hardware (Intel *cough*)). But8 "be cArEfUl, RU ties, trust me bro". So a perfect rating + VPN reasons (are u testing AVs, or VPNs?), I rank it behind NORTON😂.
