I actually learned the double the price of raw materials thing through experience. I crafted gold-rose crowns(6 roses each) and each was worth 12,000 bells
sounds like a really good way to make money, where did you get the recipe?
@@surethingsport6346
I don’t know how to get that recipe but I’ve gotten other gold recipes from talking to my villagers while they’re crafting in they’re house. You may be able to get the recipe this way. But you may have to have a 5 star island to get the recipe because you’d need a 5 star island to get the ingredients. (Gold watering can requires 5 stars)
I find it cute when they voiced their player characters haha
@@kaylee1068 things like Koramoras introduction I believe
He does that for splatoon too
When?
Worth pointing out that for hot items, it's randomly chosen based off what the resident representative knows, not the first player to log in on a given day. If you have multiple players on an island there's no guarantee they'll all know the DIY for the hot deal.
Gah completely forgot about that part since I've got a solo island, I'll pin so people can see, thank you!
what
@@VaskoGames 0o0 lucky 😩
I’m the resident representative and I don’t have the majority of the hot item recipes, in my experience it’s based off the total recipes known on the island.
I sold a mermaid closet as a hot item for almost 50k bells I do recommend
i just didn’t want to use the pearl lol
Watched this last night, I usually don’t check my hot items but I decided to this morning. Saw iron frames as an item and after crafting only ten of them I made 300,000 bells I wish I had more iron lol
Dude, i just found your channel thanks to Kora. I'm from Bulgaria aswell. i just wanna say, you make great videos!

Towards the end of my first week, iron wall lamp was the hot item. I wasn't too fussed with the hot item till then, didn't know about the fact the sum of raw mats sell price in that item was doubled. Then of course doubled again for the hot item. What I did know was that in crafting and selling it for the nook mile goal that day, it sold for 6800 bells. I had a ton of iron stocked up from tours. Tours were where the majority of my nook miles went at the time. So I crafted as many as I could. I could always get more iron. I didn't use up all my stores though. Reason being that I only noticed this at 9.40pm... yeah.
But regardless I made a lot of bells. I had more bells than I think you are supposed to that early in the game. I had 3 rooms on my house after this if I remember right. Took some turnips to get the upstairs and basement. Second week of doing turnips was a high spike of 567bells. I'd only been able to buy 1000 of them at the time. But made a couple million more by opening my gates with an entrance fee.
I'm almost a month in now and fully paid off the house, with bells to spare. I also have 6 bridges and 7 inclines. Some buildings have been moved. And my town is 5 stars somehow.
I think I play too much haha. I don't even time travel. My nooks isn't even upgraded yet.
Honestly I had a very similar experience, except I ended up having to sell turnips at a friend's island that had that nice large spike
I have never gotten lucky like that, highest turnip spike- 160 but I had few since I was broke, also I'm constantly always running low on nook miles, iron and bells, and I haven't had more than 240,000 bells at a time xD
Just watched Koramora's yt video on bells and then klicked over to your video.. And i gotta say.. Your voice is so nice to listen to. Such good quality mic and the way you speak just makes it very soothing to listen too. Subbing for sure.

DIY guy will craft you bell makes sense to me
What I learned...
How to double and get more bells
Pumpkin are fruit
Patient is a virtue
Hot item for a hot sell
Liquid Assets
There always a better and more efficient way is best way
I guess it make sense why?
Non-native fruit is more desired to eat and items made of fruit is less desirable. Also they already have items.
Gold standard? Bell are made of gold so inflation? It’s a useless resource maybe? To rare to use?
Blathering is a good idea to sell something because everyone would become interested in it
Customize and branding doesn’t help because they aren’t desired to everyone.
Also I’ll take a quick flight now to see Koramora channel
*Lillie gets a plane ticket*
Thank you!! God damn
Literally a printing money making.
I recomend saving your shells to make a "shell arch" which sells for about 12 000 bells
Absolutely! Shells are some of the best for selling DIYs
Omg - I LOVE the bar graph showing values of raw materials!! (I find things easier to understand when shown in that format, so tysm for including that! 👏)
You see I would go and watch Kora’s video...
But i already did 😏
Watch it again! :p

I have a game changing hack! Mash A and your character will craft a whole lot faster depending on how fast you mash the A button, Vasko!
Merry Christmas Vasko :D

Merry Christmas Michael!
ANd Yes HAPPY BIRTHDAY KORA!!
really great fun video - plus very well explained.
Nice Video Vasko and Kora! Happy Holidays!
Happy holidays Hoenn :)
Here from Kora, but gonna subscribe! Really liked this video
Omg love dis collabb!!!
Nice video! Really helpsme out
your island and character are so cute :D
Thanks, I will use this method for getting more money in Animal Crossing!!
I also watched Koramora's video which had good methods too. I'm gonna try both methods for earning money cuz I use it a lot.
I hope you make more Animal crossing videos - I really enjoyed this one! & yes I came from Kora's video :)
I am very much open to suggestions for that tbh! So if ya got any do let me know
Hey Vasko! Happy holidays!
Happy Holidays!
Liquid!! Assets!!
I’m following you because this video was helpful and also because Jazz Apricot is rad as hell
:O You know of Jazz Apricot!!!?!
Love your videos
I wish we could stored the diys.
True, would be more convenient. I just use an unused room for the diy I already know until somebody wants to buy it on nookazon
There is also bell vouchers that are made quickly WHILE you get materials if you don’t have a use for them
Oh you're right! The ones from the Nook Miles terminal right?
Can we take a moment to appreciate Vasko’s use of ACNL music?
.
.
.
Thank you
I like the New Horizons tracks, but there is a different kind of charm in New Leaf's music that is completely untouched in the new game.
If you are on a co-op island the double items at Nook’s Cranny can be your other players recipes.
Forget the turnip market, try supply and demand. (create yourself a Supply of resource to meet a demand)
Yeah the stalk market is too luck based, DIYs are a guarantee!
Fun fact: I don't have New Horizons, and the only Animal Crossing game I've played is city Folk on the Wii.
I’m from Bulgaria too. Your Chanel is cool
Thanks for the tip dude
Wow im a big fan Of Kora . and also thanks Vasko for replying to my comment
And happy birthday Kora
Pumpkins are fruit???? This videos so cute ^^ Omg I’m so jealous of that bamboo wall decor, I don’t have that DIY! Also lolol Supreme...
im willing to do anything that doesnt trigger my arachnophobia (yes, even video game spiders scare me. it's really bad). new leaf had the beetle island and i farmed bells there, i miss those days
And during Winter months Snowflakes sell for about 200 bells per snowflake! So if your a beginner looking for bells that's probably one of the easier ways when you don't have the miles for other islands or things like that
yay crafting *DIYS*
Thanks for the guide! Time to grab my sticks and stones!
I hope I dont break your bones :,(
This is good advice, although I somehow (not really sure why) lost my DIY for simple wooden fencing. Guess I will have to stick to making other types of fences and diy's.
im a long time fan vasko
nice video you remind me of simplypressstart, nice vid thanks :D im here from Kor's video
Ok. When I saw this, I was like, This is Vasko, he's not the Animal Crossing Splatuber, that's the job for Koramora. But then...
The collab happened. (No offence to Vasko, this was a great vid)
You got a pretty good style on clothes, sir. 😉🇫🇷🎩
Happy new year
Certain items are more than 2x
Some common ones that are really worth it are.
Shell bed. 6.8
Silo. 3.67
Rose bed. 4.1
So if its hot its really hot. A while back I charted hot items in a notebook. While most were an even 2x some less, some fractions more. Most mermaid items found make little to loosing bells.
cool vid :)
When you go to a mystery island to get a villager or resources, make sure to clear your inventory. Try to keep your tools like nets, vaulting poles, and ladders.
Sit please then kora sits lol
Ok so I'm new and this may help me alot T.T
I have no reason to watch this video bc i have too many bells but this was really relaxing
Me casually watching this video then I see one of my favorite RUclipsrs kora
YAY MY animal crossing game coming tommorow NOW I CAN PLAY WITH YALL
Now THATS the best news I've heard all day
Something I did was I needed money to donate to the harv island thing and I realized I had alot of pearls from the otter when u get a scallop and its 10k each so I sold my 10 pearls and got 90k (gold nuggets also sell for alot).
Nice I'm kinda early also I love your vids 😔💞💗💗💞💗💞💗💗💖
And I'm getting animal crossing his year I'm so late and its cristmas I get gonna die of DIY:")
Glad you like them! And a Merry Christmas :)
@@VaskoGames merry cristmas to you too 😔💖💞💖💞💖💞
big pro
Welp, I guess it's time to start filling up storage with rocks and sticks!
Smart
I like how everyone needs bells, and I just really need iron nuggets, like, REALLY need iron nuggets, and after seeing his storage at 4:47, i kid you not i nearly passed out.
Would you believe me if I told you I used to have 2-3x more Iron nuggets but used up most of em for a hot item, then bought a ton of turnips, then sold em at a friend island for like 400 bells a piece and never needed to worry about bells no more?
@@VaskoGames wow, that's quite something. Turns out I was being a silly and only getting iron nuggets by breaking rocks with fruit and an axe, instead of just breaking bits off with just an axe. Eg, i used to get an average of 0.25 NGPR (nuggets per rock) with breaking rocks, and now I got about 3.5 NGPR, as well as getting a load more clay and stones. Thanks for the tips in the vid and sharing your knowledge, also Merry Christmas!
I’ve found the way to not be broke :))))
hi i come from kora's video :D
New sub from Kora 😊
Once a pile of cash was one of the hot items, and i was excited because i thought i could make an exrta 297,000 bells, but i looked it up and the normal sell price is 148,500 bells.
When I was starting out I made my fortune with dark rose wreaths. Those go for I think 4,700 each. Also coconuts, which weren't native for me, double when crafted. And how did you not talk about shells??? Shell crafted items will go for thousands of bells on any given day and you can get a good supply of them easily, You remind me of Etce :) Are you Etce???
I remember once the hot item was an iron closet and i had STACKS of iron so as a normal person would i made a ton of closets to sell and i made like 400,000 bells
5:13 they both bumped in to each other
I'm getting Animal Crossing this week and I'm ready to be rich with these hacks ʕ→ᴥ←ʔ
you can press a repeatedly while crafting to speed it up.
That supreme comment had me pissing myslef
Lol :P I bought bells from a seller on Etsy! Nice video tho!!!!💚💚💛💛~~~
Easiest money is farming and selling DIY on nookazon. Especially seasonal diy can fetch high prices, someone gave me 4 million for a diy, but even the normal ones usually fetch at least 50000 bells
There was 1 day, where the hot item of the day was mermaid lamp, I tried 3 hours to find enough conches but to avail 😔
" these colorful *vejjeh tehbles* "
Do crops values double when cooked
this video was posted right when i got animal crossing
Put the pear rug looks cool so you don’t need to sell it
What shirt is that? I absolutely love it
merry Christmas everyone :D
I checked the daily hot item and then I see if I have the materials to make it and then I sell one and see how much it’s worth and then if it’s worth quite a bit I make more
I thought I knew everything about making money in Animal Crossing... but I didn't know about the pumpkin crafting being pointless :O
Also, I though gold roses sold for 2000 XD Oops!
In the end though, I made most of my bells (over 42million!) from selling hot items... and also all my bugs and fish to Flick and CJ. Got a second house and- what, I ran out of space in my house anyway DX
i just subed to Koramora before i watch you
2:19 umm I think that’s a big no no word 😅
one thing i realized is that i was gonna sell a golden candlestick at nooks cranny but I was to lazy to go inside, so i used the little drop in box thing and it said it was worth somewhere around 16,000 bells. but when i went inside and sold it to timmy and tommy, they said it was worth 20,000 bells. ( i don't know if it was a hot item or something and it just didn't work for the drop-in box but yea)
Oh, don't use the dropbox unless absolutely need to clear storage when the shop is closed. The box will give you much much less money always!
@@VaskoGames ok, i was wondering if it was a hot item or not and i didn't check, so thanks!
can you post the link for the crafting item sale price graph?
