The main difference I see between being born ultra rich vs poor, is that the ultra rich can choose to live like a normie for “fun”. Like the guy riding the subway whose mom said “this is fun! Everyone should do it!” They get to choose to do that, but if it’s ever annoying or they wish not to anymore they can. A poor person can’t. If their life depends on the subway they have to ride it no matter what. A normie can’t just hop on a private jet and say “oh wow, how fun, everyone should do this”. Most people will never get the opportunity to fly on a private jet, let alone first class.

I was born in the poorest of the poor in my area eating in soup kitchens and living in cars and shelters, getting beat up and my mom getting robbed on multiple occasions. Till I got adopted at age 12 but speaking from experience doing drugs is not about just being bored for anyone it’s just the easiest and cheapest way to achieve high levels of dopamine.
Being “bored” can be used for almost any decision that someone makes just because we ain’t worried about surviving like we were 1000 years ago.

Money takes away ambition. What do you do when everything is at your feet and you've already done everything while growing up? Money is only fun when broke, otherwise its one less hurdle to life.

When you're that rich, you start wars, take other people's resources, and destroy everthing they have, and then get the politicians you bought, to subsidize your projects with tax payer dollars and give you tax breaks and make even more money.

We aren’t rich, but my dad does make six figures
I’ve spent my life with the belief that I’m eventually going to end up in his corporate world, feeling that one day I will be stuck in that office which to me, feels like a prison… as I got older, I started to realize that he actually enjoys his lifestyle, but I never can because I’m a different type of person

being born rich or poor doesn't matter. what matters is the type of parents you get. if you are born rich, but your parents are good parents - they will pay attention to you and raise you right and you will have the best life without the downsides. if you are born poor and you have shitty parents - gg for you.

The problem isn't the money, it's being raised without consequences or knowledge of your fellow man. Something that goes wrong from their parents, through school, through life. Money itself is an uncaring object, but humans are shit.

I have known a lot of rich kids that are nice very humble , productive and hardworking
Growing as a rich kid is not an issue in itself if your parents teached you how to be humble and to depend on yourself, being raised as a spoiled kid and getting everything you want is the biggest problem, it all about how you where raised as a child

The Uber rich are often personality disordered, and their kids are extremely neglected and ignored. They compensate the lack of time and replace love with things and material wealth. They have a toxic family dynamic.

I'm not ultra rich but what he says is definately true. It's like, a pressure from a rich family ur supposed be a lawyer, doctor, business man that's what they want. If ur a cleaner, or some salesman ur kinda a disappointment of the family and your uncles , cousins etc..
