A wonderful tour. Long May these homes remain in the families safe from the thieving state.

My favorite part of the whole tour was the painting, "the education of cupid." It is a great representation of a family without any add on things like fancy clothes. This makes it ageless.
The best painting I have ever seen.

26:13 To clarify, the top line is a poetic version of the bottom line, which is a literal translation of what Pierre is reading.
We see here the portrait of Judith the virtuous
Who severed the head, in a manner most torturous
    Of Holofernes,
    Whom happy Jerusalem
    Had repulsed.

This gentleman is as proud of his fellow countryman
as his own aristocrat ancestors. Found it beautiful,
his respect for all of the French peoples contributions.
A interesting fellow and down to earth kind of character.
Thanks for sharing this with us.

I love these videos but it sucks to have to read these subtitles when one wishes to be looking at the house. The dubbing is superior for these purposes.
