    Dr. Hashmi, Michelle some great info here. Besides all your great ideas are there any times where supplements can help a little? Specifically are these generally considered safe for Ckd 2-3?.. That being PERHAPS Ashwaghanda? L-Theanine, Valerian? Are any one, or more of these perhaps dangerous for CKD? They all seem to help taking the EDGE off at times when nothing else seems to help even walking for ME anyways...I'm hooked on L-Theanine every day specifically, as even 3/4 a cup of coffee makes me feel anxious, and raises my STRESS levels and BP...:) Can't deal with decaffeinated.. Thanks guys...

      Hello! We will have to do an episode on stress/sleep aids and look into the research on all of those!

      Thank you for the reply!! I think that would be a great episode as so many people DO take herbs/supplements yet, I know at least some/many suppliemnts can do more harm than good.. Then again if there are ANY that can help with better sleep/anxiety/ maybe Blood pressure I think many CKD people would be VERY interested in what you both have to say...as Dr Google, is ALL over the place on this stuff..Thx again. :)!!

    Hi, is it safe to take Tamiflu with CKD 3 either as a preventative measure when someone in family has the Flu, or when you develop symptoms? thank you!

    There should be studies that specifically reflects gout manifestations. Blood pressure and appetite are definitely impacted by stress. My kidney numbers and status definitely has created stress that then impacts overall health.

      That is definitely the double edged sword. A health concern can cause more stress and more stress can make a health condition worse!

    can Chamomile Tea reducing stress and make our sleep at nights better?? Why or Why not?

    • @PlantBasedKidneyHealth
      @PlantBasedKidneyHealth  4 месяца назад

      Many people find chamomile tea to be calming and like to drink it before bed. Just make sure it is just chamomile tea and not an herbal blend (or that you check the herbs in it with your physician since some are contraindicated in CKD). But chamomile tea is generally safe for CKD :)

    If i could meet you i would tell you what stress did to me becau because that stress remained with me for 12 years that destroyed me by raising malignant high blood pressure and destroyed my kidneys and tried to ged rid of that tension but my parents didn't let me they become the cause ...My parents selected a life partner for me i told them in advance i didn't like her. They didn't listen to me and tied my knot to him.it was my life how could they compell me for that.I came under enormous tension after that for ever thinking how to get rid of all this...
