I just finished The Sword of Kaigen which took me on the most emotional ride of my entire bookish life! I felt my heart was cut out then I just became numb and didn’t want to care anymore and then my heart was slammed back into my chest and by the end it was one of the best books I’ve ever read! I really wanna read more of her writing so Blood over Bright Haven is definitely at the top of my list for March !
My hubby got me my 1st kindle for Christmas and I love it. I kept saying no because I like physical books, but he didn't listen (glad he didn't) lol. I have got so many more books read in one month than I ever had between the kindle and physical books. I read all the Housemaid books (there is a 2.5 I found) and I really liked them all.
i'm glad he got you one too because it's truly life changing! i read so speedy quick on it, it's amazing. and i'm glad to hear something positive about the rest of the housemaid series, i wasn't sure if i should continue or not!
@oliviareadsalatte Yeah I have got books done so fast on there I'm like oo I'm done already. Yeah I was surprised to find a 2.5 book it's called The Housemaid's Wedding very short book.
I may cave on the Kindle front. As i REALLY REALLY want to read Sophie Larks "Underworld" series. But i have basically realized that it is pretty much now only only available in Kindle form. So definitely will be a great start as there are 8 books
Im reading A Feather So Black, and just finished The Red Woman and the White Bear. On my kindle im in the middle of a series, #3, books called Heir of Shadow by Sara C Roethle, its sooo good!!
I loved the wrap up thanks for not going into too much detail about the books because I like to go into my books as blind as possible. If you are not in the mood for Onyx Storm then I say wait till you are. I thought for sure that I would read it the day it came out but nope I have not gotten to it yet. I am in the middle of a couple of other books and want to reread Iron Flame so I will get to it when I get to it.
The gag with Blood Over Bright Haven's plot imo was less the twist and more the ending, cause it was definitely leading you toward that twist but NOTHING could have prepared me for the way it ended
I actually went ahead & tried Until the World Falls Down by Jordan Lynde.. I am a big Labyrinth fan so the fact it's a labyrinth meets beauty and the beast mix I was like well I have to try.. oh the hate I felt at the beginning was so much towards certain characters (I mean I wanted to scream at them) I almost stopped reading because it was putting me in a bad mood, but I kept going & skipping some of the coupling because 22% so the author says is smutty.. at the end I was crying like a baby then to find out there is a book two coming ahhh over all it was a good read to me because it made me feel out loud although it might not be a book for everyone.. I am glad I read it & can't wait for the 2nd book to come out sometime this year. Oh it's a Kindle Unlimited if anyone wants to give it a try!! ❤❤ to Jake for being such a sweet puppers!!
Here's what I read You like it darker by Stephen king My name is Barbra by Barbra Streisand memoir A winter in new York by josie silver Under your spell by Laura wood A fire Endless by rebecca ross The teacher by frida McFadden Bride by ali hazlewood Things we left behind by Lucy score

It's not been a great month reading wise, my highest rated were nonfiction. In the House of my Mother by Shari Franke was probably my fav.
