Olympia Le Tan Bookcover clutch - are they really worth it??

When looking at an Olympia Le Tan clutch, one often wonders - would I really wear this?? Why would one buy a book cover clutch, and would anything even fit in it? And to be honest they are right.. what is it about these clutches that has them flying off the shelves, as if they really are the best selling books they impersonate?!
