When I watched the film, I saw the moments they fell in love with eachother. How he chased her after the dance, the way they didn't say that they loved eachother but didn't need to, because they silently told eachother. This edit is amazing, well done 👏
Good job! This song is so perfect for this video. The singer is amazing! So funny when Mr Knightly says that it means nothing when Emma says she will never marry. I thought she was hiding in the window and he found her. I once hid from someone i liked. I was successful in the beginning, then later he was told to look my way. I was off guard and he caught me! Not fair!
Amical, yes sometimes the darkness can to be in question about the white, and that it can to be confused with love. Thank you very much for this movie, is very beautiful times. Don't stress .
0:05 doesn’t exactly make sense. Emma stands out from Jane Austen’s more beloved comedies because the hero and heroine have met long before the events of the book/film take place and already consider themselves as close as brothers and sisters. Knightly is also clearly in love with Emma before the film starts, and he’s done a good job of concealing it so far, because she doesn’t suspect a thing. The journey isn’t about him falling in love with her, like in P&P, it’s the other way round, so Emma falls in love with Knightly during the events of the film, not before, like he does. So Knightley’s line here doesn’t make sense. Any sensible lover will tell you that they don’t want someone stealing their interest’s affections, and we even see this when Knightley is jealous of Churchill. So, he should mean himself when he says this line, not another man. But another natural instinct of lovers is to want their interests to KNOW they love them, or there’s literally no difference between that and lusting from afar. So why did he say this? Because he thought it would be funny to watch Emma in love with himself? Pretty cruel. And he CAN’T mean another man - Emma thinks she’s in love with Frank Churchill half-way through the novel and Knightley finds it anything but funny. And he really shouldn’t want her to doubt his own affections, that’s just hanging a puppet on a string. He even says when he’s proposing ‘you do understand my feelings, right?’ and seems desperate to convince her that he isn’t in love with Harriet Smith.
He doesn't mean himself. At this point he doesn't know that he's in love with Emma. It's Frank Churchill's presence and the tacit consensus of the rest of the Highbury society that Emma and Frank are destined for each other that opened his eyes to his own feelings. I don't care if the movie for whatever reason got it wrong, (re)read the book. It's worth it.
I wouldn’t be as harsh as @zuzanka1981. They are right. In the scene where Mr. knightley is now talking to Mrs. Weston about Emma ever marrying, Mr. Knightley doesn’t picture her ever marrying. He also has no plans to find a wife. It is hinted Mrs. Weston knows where is his heart that he doesn’t know himself. Read that scene in the book in the beginning to see the reference that both Knightley and Emma have no clue they love each other. To be honest, I love that they don’t know. Mr. Knightley was 16 I think when she was born.
This video feels like Emma is hurting most of the time when honestly, she’s hurt everybody. The character development was so lovely and beautiful I never hate her. I rooted for them ever since the moment I saw Knightley and her small gestures towards him.
Maybe because she is wearing yellow too. To show that they belong to each other. He wears yellow earlier to show he gets it earlier and she is getting there slowlier. They are conpatible and soulmates. Even different they work together. Like two different shades of yellow

Why is Mr Knightley wearing such a flamboyant yellow coat???
May be trying to one-up Emma's amazing wardrobe ;)
