As a Pete tech we see alot of CRAP but yet we get blamed for it trucks fault find the problem. 3rd party companys, owners and body builders like garbage truck on things they do. Just worked on Fitzgerald glider that burnt engine harness. No inline fuse to relay they used for starting the truck. Took power directly from starter to relay. Aftermarket headlights all wiring rubs inside the pods. Light bars with junk harness oh fun they rub too. Or owner runs wiring through dash on 379/389 that wiper linkage rubs on. Almost everyone takes test light look for battery or ignition power from any wire they can. WOW blows fuses and shorts somewhere buts its truck fault. Truck is built with many spare circuits that are fuse protected but no one uses them. I rather work on fault codes for after treatment. After seeing household wire nuts, household wiring, drop cord, scotch locks and phone jack wiring for lights not kidding..
As a former custom car builder, take them to court. You have the proof you need in the texts. The company admitted incompetence and offered reimbursement. They admitted fault. You get every cent back plus attorney fees & court costs. I never admitted fault unless I saw the vehicle in person. If I made a mistake, I admitted it and fixed it. I was never taken to court over a build. They admitted fault, case closed.
ive been an ASE gold certified technician for 30 years ive seen a lot of crappy wireing jobs but this one takes first place . Its shops like this that makes the whole industry look bad "Floridas Finest Custom Works " ill spread the word we go to SEMA at the end of October
The only "damage" is the poor workmanship. Not an insurable loss. Imagine if you could have someone hack something together for cheap, then file an insurance claim for it being a hack job, and get paid out to do it properly! We wouldn't have any insurance companies left in business.

Your exactly right that company is doing a horrible job and I pray nobody that’s had work done there have a fire or something thanks for sharing
I'd like to see you and Tim Gentry do a TUG A WAR with his wife's suv and YOUR NEW TRUCK LOL I think he would pull you out through the parking lot.
Lol kidding with you .
I mean they don't even have a web site that's a red light in sits self ....
ive been an ASE gold certified technician for 30 years ive seen a lot of crappy wireing jobs but this one takes first place . Its shops like this that makes the whole industry look bad "Floridas Finest Custom Works " ill spread the word we go to SEMA at the end of October
Good for you Bruce
Bruce much respect to you not trying to bash that company
But he did bash them.
Wouldn't their insurance cover any damage from the work they performed?
If they have insurance!
@@harley2die4 if my truck burns to the ground due to the work they did you bet I'm going after their insurance
The only "damage" is the poor workmanship. Not an insurable loss.
Imagine if you could have someone hack something together for cheap, then file an insurance claim for it being a hack job, and get paid out to do it properly! We wouldn't have any insurance companies left in business.
@@legohead6 if it caused an insurable loss as in the truck burned up yes
@@1oddtech yes, if they can prove the wiring caused the fire. but the truck didn't burn up so its a moot point.
Floridas finest ah. Dayum they've got a RUclips channel also.
Its so cheap to use the right connectors anyway, there is no excuse for that kind of work,
That's why I do things myself.... definitely this custom company needs to be named and shamed..
This is why i do all my own wiring
I just checked their Instagram and They show videos of the guy wrapping tape around the wires. 🤣
Dominguez iron works is a really good shop down there in Florida
Dude got caught "in 4K" as the kids say these days 🤣
3:55 You did not give him the opportunity to repair the work you are trash-talking, though rightfully-so at first, that is when you should have let him come and see for himself the bad work one of his employees did, after showing him the photos...? You are too impatient...?
@Paul Boo-hoo...here comes the trolls, when you tell someone/other's what they don't want to hear...my opinion is valid!
Need more pulling truck and tractors video and also more videos of the black cummins u got back
You have enough people that been to that company will be enough to take them to court.
im not technically trained however i recognize back yard work mind my work is in my back yard and i solder heat shrink all connective wiring its just lazy cheap work
Spread the word and hopefully it will cost them when they start losing customers !!
What was the name of the place you found with the new lights i couldnt read the card
I'd be contacting the Consumer Protection Agency, BAR and the BBB and then just have your Attorney send a letter itemizing the issues and formally request a complete refund of all money spent there.
Looks like the good ole truck burn down special
Sorry Bruce I Hope you get everything straightened out. I know you really care about your truck. Take your time and thank about the over head. You will thank of something to fix it. Ask others for suggestions.
I learned a long time ago if you want it done right do it yourself
Alot of car audio shops are the same way if they can hide a mess under the carpet and behind the dash.
Sounds like you got a good case to take to claims court!
Not all company's are good. As a owners of a shop you are only as good as the employees that you have working on customers cars of truck. The problem is getting quality labor to do the work
Thxs for calling them out bcos I knew it was them. My builder sent me this video n bcos of you we can pull everything apart and correct this mess. I did not have them install but I purchased alot of items from them nice guy but this truck is my livelihood and no room for errors. Thxs again ✌🏽
Sounds like you should have researched their Instal'
This was the right thing to do. How can we protect ourselves if we don't know who does poor work? Can't really sit there looking over their shoulders and inspecting the work afterwards just means we would be screwed too.
I'm sorry that it happened to sending prayers hopefully u get it fixed by the truck show
