For what is worth, this is the best info video TRC has done.🇨🇦👍👍 ( except for the drying towel show a couple of years ago)

You guys charge cheap, I’m in California maybe that’s why.
For a wash and spray wax it’s $140-160 for a wash, clay and wax it’s $250-300 nasty interior it’s $500 and up and mini interior it’s $300-350.
    Paint enhancement $450-500.
If I’m not making more than $100 an hr is not worth it, that’s the way I see it.

I'm in Fort Worth Texas and its difficult to charge that here. a wash and wax here is between 30-60 thanks to all the new detailers. Quoted a guy 250 for a interior and exterior cleaning including shampooing the carpets for 300 and he told me that i was too expensive. I'm like dude its a Tahoe not a Camry. My other detailing friends would've charged 600

I love this format! You guys have so much experience so it’s great to hear how you approach different challenges. Make more of these for sure! I’d love to hear what other TRC detailers would say too.

    Interesting video. Thanks.
Although the city should be considered. Being in San diego, California, I charge ~$120-140 per hour. Specially for interior.
Also 6-8 hour for the first car was too much I guess! Could be much more efficient.

Great video! Really puts things into perspective. Detailing isn't as big (yet) in the EU, so prices like $160-$250 for an interior would be too much for many people. Don't know why, maybe because of the 'why would I have it cleaned when its going to get dirty again'-mentality. Interiors often go for €60-€90 and many offer two step+coating for €600 or below for example. But it's getting there!

I used to be a barber and would charge $40-$50 a haircut and people would ask the same thing “why would I charge that much if it’s just gonna grow out in 2 weeks?” I would reply 3 reason: 1) the cut would be tailored to solve and problems that you’re currently having with styling and everyday use 2) the haircut will grow out properly and continue to look good throughout the month and not look crazy messy 3) you’re paying for the skill it takes to boost your confidence and personal image.
You can give a similar response here 1) you’re paying for the skill it takes to clean the car properly and not damage it any further 2) your hair grows out and you get a haircut every month to maintain your self image. Your car will get dirty again and will require another cleaning to maintain it looking like new and give you that “feel good” vibe every time you get it cleaned and step in the car throughout the month. 3) next time you come I’ll have already protected the car enough so I would have to spend less time and effort which means a better price for you

Enjoyed the reviews but do consider a floor price of $75-hour for interiors as chemicals and vacuum time eats away at your profits

just bought a new Volvo XC60 and got it ceramic coated (Gyeon Mosh) from a detailer. It was in for 3 days (Wed-Fri) and I paid 1200 US$ for it.

I would highly recommend getting the ultra air blaster from TRC for every interior job. Blast it with air, then vacuum. I also love to stream clean. Water is cheap! And safe on almost every surface.

I clean one car how to unique stain in the back. She said so we had this pumpkin. Then we threw Goodwill clothes on top of it. Forgot to go to Goodwill. So it's sat back there a little longer. Let's just say that Ford escapes back floor mats were toast. I did my best to save them. But in the end they replaced them with rubber ones anyways. But you can for the most part get moldy pumpkin out. Thank goodness for p&s carpet bomber

Hey fellas. I just got this same job with the road paint. Accept it was the white not yellow. Caked on. Carpet lined. Red/maroon Chevy. I never heard about using jelly.
There was no real info on RUclips. Bunch of bull shit like rub it with a cleaner wax. 🤣😂
I did custom paint removal on construction trucks. The fancy name and license # when I did that I learned about oven cleaner. So I tried it in the road paint. Took care of it. Soak in oven cleaner plastic razor blades. Allot of pressure wash. Jescar compound on the scrapped area. Then shinesupply Butnout one stepped. Outside only $350. 5hrs.
