Loving the series at Chamonix... I wonder whether you can cover in a video the complicated qualification and entry process with the new lottery/stones system? I think would be super useful for lots of people. I'm keen to try and enter OCC next summer myself...
Absolutely loving the coverage man! I hope the Chamonix tourist bureau is taking care of you. With any luck they might turn into a proper outdoor adventure destination with all of the pub you've been sending their way 😁. Keep it coming!
Good afternoon Run4adventure and all the runners. Come on with Nike Zegama...¡¡¡ Well done, Loyd!!!. Here is my like. A nice week for everyone. ⛰🏃♂️☀️
Definitely wish I was there moments in your Chamomix vids.. just breath taking. Eyes are writing checks my running legs probably couldn’t cash at the mo.. but would love a long hike up those trails. Thanks for taking us along!
Epic one Loyd. Beautiful scenery. We are heading to Chamonix in late September for the first time. Have to put this climb on our "to do" list. Have a great race bud.
Definitely loving this awesome content:) very inspiring Been packing my own little adventure bus this eve ready for the Gadolphin 10 km on Friday. Can’t wait :) :) many thanks
Another great video. I did that route in reverse two days after the TDS. Unfortunately a DNF at Beaufort for me. My first two nighter and was feeling really tired. Also a bit nauseous for the first time ever. Wish I had gone on now and seen how I felt after dawn broke. Hopefully do it again some day. I got two sets of Harrier poles (one trekking and one running) and the Compressport belt for the poles after looking at your videos. Both are great.
Loved the vid again Loyd! Will be in Chamonix for UTMB week myself as well, but probably not able to join the shakeout run unfortunately. Would be cool to bump into you any other time of the week. Good luck at TDS and enjoy!!!
Great Footage and I thank you for staying safe. The nitecore waistbelt looks like an item I can use on my early morning hikes here in the Islands. Keep up the good work
As always Loyd yet another quality video, thanks so much for what you do and the effort you go through to keep us all informed, enthused and inspired. Best wishes Mark
Loved this series Loyd, its been great to see Chamonix in all its glory, perhaps one day I'll hopefully make it out there. Looking forward to a little dot watching as the race draws near. Take care and all the very best for the adventure ahead.
great run Loyd! aw man i really need to get back on a proper mountain soon. really interested in your next review of the endo edge. also, can't wait for your test of the mafate speed 4, though i realise that might take some more weeks.
Went out for a run tonight, first run since covid two weeks ago, just a couple of km. Feel like there is a lot of work to do, though glad to get my motivation back. Been struggling mentally since the end May when I finished the Edinburgh marathon. Felt like I was back tonight 😊. Good luck with TDS Loyd!
It’s hard being knocked out because of covid or injury, and a challenge getting back in, especially when you notice your gains may have slid.. feel like I’ve been on a roller coaster with gains and losing them to injury and other stuck making it hard to get out the door. Good luck fella keep ya chin up. Well done with Edinburgh.. did that once, would love to do it again.
Hi Loyd ...another great footage in Chamonix...don't worry about the french prononciation of L'aiguille du midi lol ( well how could i explain you that lol) 🤔...write that in Google traduction App and you can listen the prononciation 👏👏👏😉🇫🇷
@Run4Adventure - Hi Lloyd, I'm heading out to Chamonix in a few weeks and would like to do this route. Can you remember roughly how long it took to get to the refuge? Cheers, Tom
It obviously comes do to how fast you can move in the mountains but it's a pretty good trail up to the refuge so I'd say around 2hrs 👍 It's a great route, hope you have a wonderful time in Chamonix 🏃♂️⛰️ Loyd

Can't wait to hear what shoe will you pick for the BIG day. Love the running t- shirt! What brand please
Inspiring video and cool music. Who are the artists?
S/LAB Genesis could be a cool shoe for the TDS if it is released on time.
Pushing new trails and worrying about safety in a Nike trail shoes?! Altitude really got the best of you Loyd 😂 (really waiting for the full review)
Amazing video
That was just wonderful.. what an incredible place!
Wow. Super jealous of that run. Tried several times to get up there during winter and weather stopped us.
Great video Loyd. Interested in seeing which shoe you pic for the TDS. Speedgoat 5 for me in the CCC .
Another great video, loving the torches, thanks for sharing

l'ayg-wee (equal stress on each syllable). Gardez-vous en sécurité, et continuez à courir...
This looks absolutely beautiful, are you sure you’re not sponsored by Chamonix Tourism? ☺️ I’m thinking of heading over next summer just to explore!
Loved this vid 😊
Cheers Sy, glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching 🙏😊
You need to stop this ‘trail porn’ it’s making me very jealous! Great job!
Mafate Speed 4 for the race
