I have always loved Olivia’s voice from the very first time I heard it. She became my forever, favorite singer, right then and there. And shortly after, I discovered just how beautiful she was. And after that, I just kept discovering more things to love about her. And, almost as long, I have been jealous of Cliff, with the time he got to spend with her. But to be honest, when I first discovered her back in 1971, I knew a seven year old me had absolutely no shot with Olivia, and I was okay with that then, and for the next 51 years of bliss, joy and happiness Olivia has provided me and the rest of the world.
ONJ truly was one of a kind. She brought sun to the days of everyone she met. September 26, 2023 would've been her 75th birthday. She fought cancer *thrice* without losing her sunny personality and vitality. Truly a joy to have around, truly someone to take notes from, truly someone who lived her life to the fullest. She was truly a blessing. God bless her soul, now and forevermore.

I literally had zero vote as a seven year old living in Vienna, Austria as an American dependent kid, when my grandparents came over to visit. We took our Volkswagen bus on a trip through parts of Europe.We stopped at a traffic light in Portugal at night, and I spotted a club she was playing the following night. I had to be quiet, but what I wanted to tell my father was to find a hotel for the night, so I could see and hear Olivia perform the next night. So close, but so far. I cannot imagine how it would have been to see and hear a young Olivia back during that time. I may have been her biggest fan at that age.
Love the two of them together. What a perfect singing duo and their friendship and comfort and love for one another is truly seen every time they are perform together.

Always thought Olivia was ok, always thought Cliff to be ok, but together on the track "Had to be" they were bloody marvellous!
