  • Many people ask me, how did you get to China during the COVID-19 pandemic? Well, the answer is, by plane, on China Southern Airlines! Well, that is the simple answer - it is actually much more complicated than that.
    In this video, I document my experience flying from #Australia to #China (Sydney - Guangzhou), and what it was like to both travel to and go through customs and immigration in China during the #COVID19 pandemic.

    I went back home from Melbourne via Sydney in late July this year and I took Xiamen Airlines. The quarantine hotels for passengers whose final destinations are somewhere not in Fujian are mostly great. I was assigned to a hotel owned by a circus in Jimei District. It was very spacious and clean. I could order delivery meals and grocery every night. Ah, by the way, the crews on my flight to Xiamen didn't wear the full-body hazmat suit, just the rain-coat like gowns.

    • @wadeabout1856
      @wadeabout1856 2 года назад +2

      Because China has returned to normal life for more than a year, the number of people entering China every day is too large, and the border epidemic prevention staff is insufficient. If the tourist visa is opened, it will further increase the pressure of border epidemic prevention.

    • @wadeabout1856
      @wadeabout1856 2 года назад +3

      Because the epidemic prevention measures in Hong Kong, China do not meet the requirements, ordinary residents are also unable to enter the mainland.
      Macao, China, has taken strict epidemic prevention measures according to the requirements of the government, so ordinary residents are allowed to enter the mainland.
      We are so strict with our people that we can imagine how much the government attaches importance to epidemic prevention.

    I'm not trying to be that kind of guy but it pisses me off so much that workers are allowed to comeback but not students. Work is found everywhere especially for expats but for us international students you just can't pull out from a degree you're enrolled in and invested your soul and hardwork for 2,3,4,5 years with your future at jeopardy.
