I truly loved the segments from 77 Sunset Strip since they were episodic. Each episode had a distinct story-line with well-groomed men and lovely women. Warner Bros. saw to it that their players did make their best efforts to look like film stars. Just look at the latest in couture and hair-styles of the 60's that included bangs, the bouffant and the beehive, plus later it was the igloo. Even an ordinary looking female actor began to get appreciate glees in viewers eyes. While Efrem Zimbalist Jr. and Roger Smith were the top faves, the other sideliners like Ed Byres and Robert Logan did receive a modicum of fame from this great series. Stars under contract were used all the time and they were interchangeable in the many shows Warner Bros produced. Besides 77 Sunset Strip, other shows that were greatly popular throughout the world were Hawaiian Eye, Surfside Six and Bourbon Street Beat, plus Westerns like Cheyenne, Bronco Lane, Black Saddle and on and on. Well-known guest stars can be spotted in each episode and, if you had a favorite from that period the fabulous 1960's, be sure you'll be able to spot them in this great show.
