I think tyler1 was always very fair when it comes to judge people that use loopholes or take rules as they are. He even said that pirate roaching was totally fine, because he said "play for your character". The rules were not well established and they used the loophole. If tyler wouldn't be so accepting for other people playing dirty as long as it's in the set of rules, I would be more complaining, but the true problem for me was that they didn't state the rules to avoid loopholes like this. The story of the horde had a lot of ups and downs and tyler1 and sodapoppin kinda fit the role of warchief as they were in the history of warcraft pretty well. The only argument I could see is, that the horde is about blood and honor and this event was rather cowardly, but it isn't a dealbreaker for me, as long as they learn from it for future events and punishments.
There was nothing wrong with the event Yamato was told repeatedly by Tyler not to go through with this he did it anyways, Sardonco cheese’d him as he was allowed to do, Yamato tried later swapping to reduce his chance of dying to the guildies who want him dead which is what he’s allowed to do and even then he almost got killed. This was actually better than the first to 5 Tyler vs Soda.
