Attempts by Russia to take back the towns and villages could result in them being severely damaged in the fighting. Putin will then have to explain why peoples' homes and workplaces have been destroyed. He will also have to bear the cost of re-building them.
This guy had some interesting points - though I think he's incorrect about Ukraine leaving Kursk - I find it more likely that, if Russia is able to apply sufficient pressure, Ukraine will withdraw at a pace which maximise the attrition ratio to Ukraine's advantage. It's likely the war will end before Ukraine has fully retreated.
Can someone please explain if this is western propaganda? Ukraine is struggling in places, good soldiers are dying every day protecting their country yet all Times Radio seems to focus on is Russian struggles with absolutely no concern for the other side. Frankly with the amout of struggles that this channel covers with regards to Russia, the country should long be overrun by Ukranians yet the balance at the front is somewhat in favour of Russia. How so?
The struggle is on the defensive side - where the majority of the Russian imperialists’ forces are pressing them: on the offensive side the indigenous forces of Ukraine have the edge because there’s hardly any resistance (some conscripts, some Chechen mercs that folded quickly, some FSB or police units…) that can stand up to their onslaught - basically, the Russian strategy has turned their nation into a glass canon (they can hit pretty hard, but can’t take much punishment without folding).

If the truth can be told, Germany and probably other EU states fear post war competition from Ukraine. Ditto Polish farmers and many others. Ukraine victorious would be a LARGE state with competitive advantages of large scale mining, vast agricultural areas, and a forward-thinking population, bye and large. So not all the foot dragging is high minded. You can see from this the concept of the European Union, as a union, is still being realized. NATO, if Ukraine were a member, could probably put to rest concerns about Russian hegemony. Contrarily, if Ukraine were to completely fall the Russian Federation would essentially be doubled in military capability and Europe would be relatively weaker. This has happened before and the result was catastrophic.
President Zelensky is a commendable and astute leader who tirelessly works towards the liberation of his nation. He is a hero who deserves our support.

NATO's "plan" for dealing with Russia is the same as most of the Western "plans" to deal with problems around the world. The centerpiece of the "plan" is the fervent hope that the problem will go away if the West does the absolute bare minimum in terms of activity. NATO's "plan" lives at the intersection of conservatism and timidity.
The idea might be that this area is occupied temporary and after this one another area. In that case Russia needs to change their plans regularly not knowing what will be next.
He failed to mention...that in invading Russia. Ukraine has already cit one of two railroad lines. That supplies Russian troops in Eastern Ukraine. And is close to cutting the 2nd line too. And when that happens....Russia has a huge problem. Sooo....why would Ukraine ever retreat and go back into Ukraine!!!
Hes not in the driving seat if all aid is stopped, the US must have known they spotted the Russian build up before the invasion began snd warned Ukraine. Im concerned about the response that Russia might take , although that will mean open season on Moscow we need a peace deal before this gets out of control
Funny, how Ukrainian soldiers walk through a village and a Russian civiian screams „Glory Ukraine“. Funny becaus it reminds me of WW2-scenes where American GIs where walking through newly liberated German towns and villages in 1945...
The problem Ukraine has holding territory is the length of the border, not the area involved. So they could theoretically occupy much more land than they already have, and hold it. I have no idea if that is a goal, just saying.
I wonder if this Ukrainian operation was carried out now in order to grab as much Russian territory as possible and hold it until the autumn rains begin. This will in effect make cross country operations almost impossible leaving Russia no option but to use the roads which I am sure will be well covered by Ukrainian drones and artillery.

Ukraine no longer has to fight with bad Russian weapons
This is where we get known unknowns which is frankly a scary scenario.
NATO’s plan to win the war by not upsetting Russia. Good plan 😂
Why does Times radio always repeat the dialogue?
I don’t believe the intelligence services didn’t know. I think they thought Ukraine has proved itself and the time is right.
Zelensky is the man of the century !
Choice of Aleksey Dyumin as the Secretary of State shows how badly Putin is mistrusting those around him.
If Iran is that weak how do they get away with harassing and attacking foreign militaries passing through the strait?
Yes Zelensky in driver seat The reason of drip drip no escaliting
Oh dear! A Second Krinky on the way….
When you want a new russia you risk to loose the older
Self defense is not provocation. Why are we we even entertaining such a ridiculous premise?
That is contrary to the opinion of nearly every other guest expert, military or otherwise, that main battle tanks and F 16's would not be game changers
Melrose? Sigh I guess the name fits. Sorry child, MBT's and F-16's are game changers. Its just the quantity of them and the doctrine of use that makes the difference.
What a curious point of view from this man, surely an admirer of the great Russia.
this guy doesnt know this. Zelensky could of talked about this with nato. Just because nobody told him doesnt mean it wasnt part of the plan.
👍👌🇨🇦🇺🇦🙏🏻❤️
Zelensky was fed up waiting on the weak west.all talk with no action.
Since the Russians believe that the West did … Go and do …. support Ukraine all the way.
When I get my nose stuffed I also have great ideas
It’s almost like he’s fighting a war ?
Is that true? Theyve gained as kuch territory in a week as Russia has gained in two years?
Ukraine is fighting for its own survival and Russia is definitely gonna learn in the hard way because Ukrainians are warriors and they don't joke when it comes to fighting an enemy. You can as well comfirm these fact from their boxing champ. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦
Why do youtube videos keep repeating the same 2 or 3 paragraphs twice!!!
Danger to OUR democracy is my favourite rhetoric. You are starting to see it aren't you.?
@Pressurecook34 C'mon man. This is the United States of America , for god's sake.
My other favourite one. It wins every argument , or it used to.

Wonder why all news casters are sitting down? The reason is quite funny....
@Pressurecook34 so the reason why they sit down is because....

Biden has been extremely weak in dealing with Putin and Blinken a chocolate teapot - I think Kamala will be far more proactive.
Blinken is managing in an excellent way. I think Jake Sullivan is to blame.
President Zelensky is a commendable and astute leader who tirelessly works towards the liberation of his nation. He is a hero who deserves our support.
NATO…😂…the sleeping beauty. Time for the other ruzzian neighbours to wake up !
Can't you just play some computer game instead? Less than you think are interested in going along with the pooping Putin. Other people have lives
"ukraine has gaines in 1 week, as much land in russia in 2 years" is just not true
Someone needs to tell NATO that their plan is not to provoke Russia, they are not doing well at this
People are dying daily for piece of land. No one is going to take land with them. Only memory is what stays with us. So enjoy your moment. Asset is your today and tomorrow it may be others and it us going stay down for years to come. Why are you fighting.. 😢
'the Wests policy of non-escalation' -
lol
"Peace in our time" ... as they once said in 1938.
Oh come on! Zelensky is holding the line its his choice! I wish british gov would protect its people, even netanyahu protects his people
Inna real war as in the case of Ukraine / Russia war , whatever weapon Ukraine 🇺🇦 procure or import, becomes UKRAINIAN why tying their hands when they have been murdered In their country by the RUSSIAN
Thank you.
🇬🇧🇺🇦
Giving Ukraine everything it needs to win this war and Ukrainian integration into the EU and NATO is the west’s best self defense.
If we gave them more tanks he said? They have been given hundreds of tanks go look it up
He failed to mention...that in invading Russia. Ukraine has already cit one of two railroad lines. That supplies Russian troops in Eastern Ukraine. And is close to cutting the 2nd line too. And when that happens....Russia has a huge problem. Sooo....why would Ukraine ever retreat and go back into Ukraine!!!
We now see how appeasing a madman with vast resources is futile at best.
Hes not in the driving seat if all aid is stopped, the US must have known they spotted the Russian build up before the invasion began snd warned Ukraine.
Im concerned about the response that Russia might take , although that will mean open season on Moscow we need a peace deal before this gets out of control
Anyone who talks about "peace" talks with Russia is a clown.
The deal is now obvious. Russia can give back the Ukrainian land it occupies and Ukraine can give back the Russian land it occupies. Simple.
Funny, how Ukrainian soldiers walk through a village and a Russian civiian screams „Glory Ukraine“. Funny becaus it reminds me of WW2-scenes where American GIs where walking through newly liberated German towns and villages in 1945...
Now let Ukraine into NATO!
_The Ukraine and the U.S.A. are masterfully playing 'Good-Cop / Bad-Cop' with Russia!_ 🎭 - j q t -
Invade and risk being invaded- sounds like war Vlad !
Nato is not only USA ....I know my country agree with Zelensky
Does putin not use north Korean and Irans equipment as well as foreign soldiers
Yeah, but don’t count on him to admit it…
The problem Ukraine has holding territory is the length of the border, not the area involved.
You are incorrect......NATO met on the subject and decided it was now ok to attack into Russia short range.....educate yourself
Oops Putin...put the kettle on the Ukrainians are popping in for tea !
