You mentioned having started with the PC60...I started with the PC50 lol. Over $8000 (CAD) back in '97. I've been in the sign business for 25 years myself with similar equipment. Just me and the wife. We can really relate to all your videos! We look forward to your videos!
Thank you! I started cutting with a 12" Roland Stika then went to a GRC 61 Vinyl Express 24" cutter with LXI software. That old PC60 was awesome for small stickers, but slower then dirt compared to today's standards! I ran it through COREL Draw 4 I. My dad had Corel and let me load it so I could run the PC-60, I did show my age when I mentioned that LOL!!
Really cool idea, was just asked to do a gradient And couldn't do it that way. Now I can! Ended up making it a 3 layer instead of 2. Question though. Will the vinyl stick to the paint to make it a lot less cutting?
I suppose you could but I would worry about the bond of the paint to the vinyl with the permanent vinyl adhesive. I've always used the paint as the top surface.
Outstanding video! Thank You!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
@The Sign Guy. Awesome tips.

Great Content - Just found your channel
Have a blessed day
Fabulous idea! No problem with the transfer tape sticking to the paint (or vice versa)? I need more of your imagination!!
As long as the paint is dry, I've never had a big problem with it.
Awesome!!
Thanks! I hope it helps!
Another great video! Finally got an Eco solvent printer and have been doing decals for contractors. Still learning the printer but having fun!
Awesome what printer did you get?
@@TheSignGuy Started small - Mutoh VJ24. I mostly do Apparel printing, however I am quickly learning to expand with this new printer.
@@teezthatpleez6873 That printer will do everything you need it to do and then some. Congrats on the new printer!!
Fantastic!👍
Thank you! Cheers!

Makes sense. Could always transverse my cut file to accommodate it. Thank!
thanx for the idea , i just wanna ask if i transfer it the ink will not stick to the transfer paper ? ...
It should not, done it hundreds of times without issues.
Will this work with HTV VINYL???
I'm sure it would but I never tried it to confirm it will.
