Just living, in an unencumbered and tranquil way that minimises unnecessary pain to yourself and others, can be the greatest and most restorative piece of art work you will ever attempt.

As someone who feels sound, I can tell you that some sounds are more beautiful than others. So questioning if dogs can smell shapes or colors isn't that crazy!

Damn, those hands…the emotion you’ve captured here is imminently recognizable to me. Then when you added the background it solidified this piece being a new favorite of mine from you. The streams are always great, but this type of content is irreplaceable, thank you!

Kinda pertainint to the topic, i recently bought a sci-fi book in which humans tried to create intelligent life on a planet, by sending a virus that would hasten the evolution of the local primates. Only instead of the primates, it affected the local spiders. When i heard about it, it sounded way too interesting to skip, even though i am bad at reading consistently. I haven't read it yet, but apparently the spiders' technology is - similar to what you mentioned here - based on how they evolved. Communications based on vibrations for example, as they had evolved to be attuned to their webs.
If anyone is interested, the book is called "Children of Time" by Adrian Tchaikovsky

In the mere year since I found your channel I've grown more as an artist than I have in my entire life. Both technical and artistic progression rely on a person's deeper attitude towards art, themselves and the world as a whole, I feel. Which is why your talks are far more valuable than any tutorials out there.

the contemplation on how art is like it is, with all the design or not design choices that it forms it come from how our brains work and that if another kind of life would have the capacity of see it and try to internalize it would probably see non sense or think it's all over the place have been in my mind for quite some time
somehow, that thought took value out of my art, and other's art too. knowing that it is not universal, only making sense to humans, and not even all of them... there's something in there that bothers me, i don't know why

Holy, another philsophical banger. This video got me to think introspectively about what I have been considering aesethic and how I really have been constraining my art and myself to what others think of me and holding both back because of it! Thank you for this eye-opening perspective.

Didn't pay attention to the drawing at first. Was listening to your speech during my work...and then I alt-tabbed to your drawing, and it all just clicked. Instantly, I understood what you were talking about. And for a second a got a bit tearful. Truly, the world of art can be boundless if we just scratch the surface of the "correct" with a sense of adventure and wonder. Huh, I just realized with the "correct" way...I kinda lost my desire to wander around and search for things with my art... Every line, or shape that does not adhere to the "correct" way was instantly met with inner criticism.
    Huh...you learn something every day.

Watching a second time.. I do like watching the "other RUclips artist" you know the ones that I know aren't AI artists by keeping my follow limited but honest. I feel like I enjoy both.. the mental and technicality of art. My preference of how these things are delivered is determined by the stress and/or lack of time I have available. Take away the life stress and time requirements and duties.. I would consume and appreciate artists with the respect all artists deserve. I'm comforted by your approach to your art. That 'enjoy the process as much or more than the outcome or recognition'.

Excuse me! I started art youtube way before AI, I just failed to make videos more consistently people will think I'm new.. :D
Anyways, I remember once talking to a colorblind digital painter who made really vibrant art in all colors of the spectrum, much better than I can even now, years later. I just had to ask about it and he explained how he actually learned about the color wheel and memorized what are the colors he can't distinguish so he can use the color picker to check the colors and add all of them... and yet there is a condition called tetrachromacy that is the result of a genetic mutation that allows people to distinguish more colors than most people. I wonder what I might be missing out on..

i really see no reason for someone to not forgive the hypocrisy you mentioned at the end, as the worst someone could do is simply dismiss it and go about their day. for myself your musings have and do illustrate ideas that i've already had about my art (which apply to every other part of my sensory and internal experiences), so to me it doesn't really strike you as stating facts, even if we're to disregard how taking these sentiments for fact causes these ideas to crumble with everything else it destroys. it's good to see you again

    • @StevenZapataArt

I had no idea digital art was too easy, I am so so sorry. To my fans and supporters who have stood behind me all these years, I want to extend the most sincere apology. I know this explanation is not sufficient to make amends for my failures, but I want to say that when you're spreading yourself too thin it's easy to make mistakes and deceive yourself into thinking incorrect and foolish things. I promise to be better in the future, and am ready to open a conversation as to how I can make things right.

It just isn't for me. Hence why I left an explanation for the thumbs down. Didn't want you thinking your video sucked or anything. Ijust didn't want these type of videos popping up on my page. Sorry it hurt your delicate feelings. Next time I'll know to just thumbs down. Good luck to ya and all those giving you money.

people have common sense and many of us aren't doing art for a self indulging hobby they are doing it for work, trying to deny the existence of objectivity good art while constantly rambling is mocking other channels under a veil of philosophy makes you come out as pretentious and arrogant. and for the love of god stop with that asmr its makes it difficult to listen.
