  • Hello friends, today’s tutorial is a very quick and simple macrame wristlet keychain. After posting mine on Instagram this morning, I received a few request for a tutorial so here it is! Honestly, I use these so much and they are SO helpful! My keys aren't tiny so putting them in my jeans pocket is out of the question, and as a human, and dog mom, I like having both hands free at all times, and these make that possible! (I'm not a fan of carrying a purse unless absolutely necessary.)
HERE IS A LINK TO THE CORD I USED:
    www.soulfulnotions.ca/product...
Also, I am VERY happy to announce I now offer all types of macrame cords in my Etsy shop! Until January 31st, 2021, I am offering my subscribers a 10% discount, (not valid with any other offer or coupon), use code RUclips10 at check out. One last thing, shipping in Canada is free with a purchase of $150, and free to the US with purchase of $220 CAD.
This wristlet measures 1in/2.5cm wide, and 8in/20cm long.
    Here is what I used:
    - swivel keychain, 1in/2.5cm (any keychain will do!)
    - 5mm braided cord, 2 x 7ft/215cm
    - 3mm braided cord 16in/41cm for gathering knot.

thank you so much! this was my first macrame project and the way you explained it was so easy to follow!! i used a smaller cord, but it still came out amazing! i’m planning on trying to make a lanyard in the future in this way. rn i use the wristlet mostly for my keychains that i never use, and my keys, and then i made this little wallet pouch thing to store my money, mask, hand sanitizer, chapstick. lol i’m only 13 but i was bored at home so i decided to try and make one and now it’s becoming a hobby. again, thank you!
