  • This is my full review of the Extreme Blower Spreader, which I found to be a complete win for manually spreading really small seeds (clover, turnips, kale, etc.) into food plots up to a few acres in size. In this video, I show you how I used it and which settings seemed to work best with the different types of seeds, based on their size. I give it a 5-Star rating!

Great information on blower and seed. When the radish and brassicas are they good they are better after the frost.
Sometimes if u mix small seed with dirt/ sand then spread it makes it easier for consistency

They've been hitting my brassicas well, both before and after frost, but definitely more after frost.

That's really good idea to spread the seeds with a leaf blower. I saw you used lots of small engine equipment and an idea pops up. Are you up for a collaboration on small engine repair? Hipa supplies parts for small engines and we are looking for youtubers to share more tips and tricks on small engine repair.

That thing works great! I guess when you're done with the seeding you can put a piece of duct tape over the hole till next time!

The only real negative thing about the product is that they don't send a 1" plug for the hole, which is pretty trivial but yep, a piece of duct tape does the job just fine.

@@UncleBucks - Actually, on their website, they recommend leaving the base attached to your blower tube with the gate in the closed position, and simply removing the hopper.

@justadbeer my only concern with that is risking having the rubber straps dry rot and split or stretch out over time, but probably not worth worrying about.

Did adding the seeds give the blower more thrust?
