- How to grow Monte Carlo Emersed step by step
In this video I am showing how to grow your own Monte Carlo at home
I am using the adult or baby diaper as a sodium polyacrylate source. You can use sodium polyacrylate power also . By adding sodium polyacrylate to the soil it increase the water holding capacity of the soil and help in the growth of the plant.
I got good result for Monte Carlo by using it but don't know how they react to other aquatic plants . Iam still experimenting it with other plants and I will give the result in the upcoming videos
THIS IS MY OWN METHOD. I AM ONLY SHARING MY EXPERIENCE AND THE METHOD.. IF YOU'RE PLANNING TO DO THE SAME ,PLEASE TRY WITH A SMALL QUANTITY AND IF YOU'RE GETTING GOOD RESULT DO IT ON LARGER SCALE..

Can i use it to my aquarium
Whats the result it will be?
u showed the emersed version, is it same for the submersed version too? and what about other plants like rotala
No this is only for Emersed version..
A detailed video on your greenhouse setup ... Im in the process of trying this out, only been a week after i planted the monte carlo trimmings , im seeing new growth but the leaves are quite small this time . I thought emersed leaves were bigger in size , my assumption is the clear plastic film is using gets foggy due to the moisture in the container and dosent let enough sunlight in . So , a detailed tutorial on the green house u use would be much appreciated, that mainy cuz one of my cultured failed after i kept it open without a cling film and it dried out within 3days , i sprayed water 5time s a day but still no use , probably cuz i didnt have anything to retain the moisture
Bro my green house is nothing fancy just waste clear plastic sheet covered over some iron wire..😬 ..bro feel free to msg me on Instagram we can discuss everything ,I can help you 😊
@@aquasquare oh smh i never got the notification that u responded . Ill knock u on insta then
Wha to happens when you put these in water? Will they melt back? Don’t know a whole lot about these. Thanks.
@@wakingforbacon6439 theyll grow just fine submerged , they might take a few weeks to start up but theyll grow just fine
Did you keep it in green house after 2 weeks of planting or leave it open without cover?
I kept them in the green house without cover after 2 weeks
Can i use submerged monte carlo to grow it emersed?
Yes you can, keep the plant in High humidi condition for first few week and reduce the humidity setp by setp
pls do other plants like rotala too ;-; any tips!? mine melts everytime
i followed every step u showed ;-;
Iam not sure about this method to other plants ..i am now experimenting this method to other plants.. i will update about it soon..
Is it the plant rotala growing emersed or submerged?
Which country city, Weather I please??
India,Kerala ,whether wet and maritime climate
Are these plants for sale?
Yes
why not just add clay?
sodium polyacrylate can retain hundreds of times its own weight in water, whereas clay can only retain 20 times its weight in water
This is not Monte Carlo plz post an update.
It is Monte Carlo, I used it inside my aquarium. I will post updated soon
Fine sand or mid coarse sand??
I used fine sand
@@aquasquare is there any problem if I don't use diaper's absorbent??
@@istoppedlaughing5225 adding it will increase the water holding capacity of the soil it will help in the growth of the plant
@Aqua Square can I use cocpeat as an alternative?
@@istoppedlaughing5225 yes bro
garden soil has compost in it ?
Yes bro..
