Is there a lecture about his ethics?

Moore was a colleague of Russell at the turn of the 20th Century in Cambridge. British Idealism was the dominant school of philosophy in English speaking countries. Russell and Moore broke from Idealism. Russell with his logical atomism and Moore with his Common Sense stance. In different ways, both succeeded at bending English speaking philosophy toward common sense realism. Moore was brilliant but chose not to demonstrate his brilliance in ostentatious ways, including popular Latin phrases and transliterated Greek words. He was an Aristotelian Realist, grounded in his classical studies of which he was master. He is worth a read knowing this context.

I have never heard of this philosopher, G. E. Moore.
I have to read this man, for he is brilliant and humorous.
I have never laughed so hard in quite a while.
Especially, the trip to see to get his award from King George V.
I believe he must have read Thomas Paine, Common Sense - The Age of Reason Rites of Man, my favorite at the beginning of our complicated history of American Imperialism and colonization.
    Memorize this:
    Quote:
    1. My own mind is my church. The world is my country.
    2. To do good is my religion.
    3. The nightmare of the demog, could you get the garbage off the screen?
    4. I love my country.
    Thomas Paine
One of my favorite American philosophers is William James.
    1. The Varieties of Religious Experience
    2. Pragmatism
    3. A Plurralistic Universe
    4. The Meaning of Truth
    5. Some Problems of Philosophy Essays
    6. Psychology: Briefer Course
    7. The Will to Believe

Wasn’t redefining perceptions as illusion kind of putting the fly back in the bottle?
