Amtriptyline definitely doesn’t help with headaches at all!!!!! It helps with sleep and nerve pain. It doesn’t do anything for migraine headaches!!! I hope u get the right medicine!!!!! I hope your headaches get better!!!! Thanks for updating us!! Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!!!!!
I had a neuro test and the doctor said that I should stop with paracetamol and replace it with this medicine. I searched it actually and it is an antidepressant as well. Since this was a trial meds and with what I experienced, I’m sure he will be giving me another one soon. I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas as well 🎄😘
I couldn’t agree more! I was just considering if I should post this, since Ivory sadly isn’t here anymore, but then I thought others may watch the video. Then I saw your post. I have been on this for around 20 years. I have tried stopping it a few times, but every time my nerve pain gets so bad, so it proves what it really works for and tells me how bad my nerve pain really is. I also use Paracetamol and other pain meds though, but the amitriptyline is a good basis medication when you have nerve pain and chronic pain in general. But for headaches, NOPE, never thought it worked for headaches at all. At least not for me! I wouldn’t replace Paracetamol/acetaminophen with this either, I would use the two in combination, could no doubt do a better job when combined! Rest in Peace Ivory! ❤

Yes it’s terrible especially when you are the type of person who is used to do a lot of things in a day and all of sudden it seems like I’m confined in bed half of the day with an exploding headache. I live in the Netherlands and we went to Germany for an afternoon visit for the Christmas market. It is very close to us so it was okay. Where are you from? Hi ivory sorry to hear you have been ill it’s awful lying in bed when your normally an active person it messes with your mental health so sending you lots of virtual hugs. Mums doing good she gets the occasional redness from the tagriso but she can cover this with her make up so that’s good, she has ct scan after Xmas so let’s hope things are still good, sometimes it’s hard to believe that anything is different. Anyway I hope you have a lovely peaceful Xmas with your family lots of love as always ❤.xxxx

And you been 2 years in treatment but you are still good looking... and don"t even lose your hair.. I am includimg you in my prayers... I hope miracle will happen to you soon,cancer and pain free.
