That was a nice change out, I can see where that is a much better hub to install because of not having to beat off the cap. Thanks for the video, keep up the great work.
Thank you Don! I'm excited about an easier grease exchange too. Unscrew the cap, pump grease into the rear of the hub and the new grease pushes the old out the front. It will almost feel like fun changing out the grease when you compare it to dreading a complete hub disassembly!😁
Thanks for the video. I have Vortex hubs on my trailer and have been reluctant to do anything to them. I'm going to have to replace the brakes on my trailer and had considered taking it to a trailer repair shop, but I will now research on getting parts and doing myself.

You're very welcome! They make the best quality stuff I've seen and the little features they engineer into them are ingenious.
Thank you for watching!
Why didn't you do a video on the more modern Dexter hub with the plastic seal support and the metal instead of plastic caps
This was what I could find in the size I needed.
Thanks! :)
You're welcome Paul! They have been great so far. Lots of trips to the coast and one to SWFL. They are well made!
What happened to your rear great seal. I never seen it.
It was just Tim to service them so I decided to go with a better design.
