    This guy and his girlfriend also went into a cookie store, weren't wearing masks and got told to leave, claimed that they couldn't trespass in a public service store, then assaulted the woman who was telling them to leave. He live streamed the whole thing then showed it to police, they both got arrested for assault. Hopefully they end up in jail for a while so they stop wasting people's time

    Here in the Netherlands, the cops will wait before the licence plates are attached on the car before letting you go. If not it's going to be towed with a heavy fine.

    I once had a friend of a friend try to tell me all about sovereign citizen, I was like “got my bachelors in criminal justice and been through the police academy, do yourself a favor don’t argue it with the police or judge you will lose I promise” hope they follow my advice, if not oh well they will see!

    Failure to have the VIN visible is a Federal violation. Most states will issue a ticket for failing to display the license plates also. He was lucky he didn't get caught by the Missouri State Patrol who instantly arrest the operator and tow the vehicle.

    One silly trick they use is actually possess a license and plate and registration and soforth. They get the tickets and then go to court withe documentation, so the ticket is dismissed. Then, they claim that the judge released that their sov cit shit is for real.

    Would love to see a state pass a law that when convicted of harassing state employees for the sole purpose of making videos to post online, that all revenue (ads, subs, donations, etc) becomes the property of the county and municipality that charged him/her since it was proceeds from criminal activity.
    Give the prosecutors reason to take the case to court instead of dropping the charges while taking away one of the main reasons why these fools act this way.

    It seems to me that most states really don't care about protecting the public. They let wreckless drivers on the road with a warning. They let uninsured drivers continue to drive and risk other drivers safety and property. I'm glad I live in Massachusetts. They would never let an uninsured driver continue to drive. That would make them liable to any damage or injury caused by an uninsured driver after they let them go. I'm amazed that these municipalities are willing to risk a lawsuit by letting these things go.

    I have come up with a test. Ask, what does P on the shifter mean. Then ask what R means and then ask what D means. There is no T for travel. No plate displayed, off to jail, no insurance, off to jail. Car should be immediately impounded and not released until license, tag and insurance are shown to impound lot. I also suggest every police officer carry a large cup of water to “accidentally drop their phone in”. It wouldn’t do for me to be a police officer.

    I am surprised that the police permitted the guy and the passenger to remain in the car during the stop given that the guy had a gun accessible.
    In fact I am surprised that the guy even wanted to stay in the car. All it would have taken was a "I saw him reaching for his gun.." and the guy would be pushing up daisies.

    I’m guessing he knew he would get his ass kicked in TN with that manbun in jail. BTW Mike, most departments don’t allow their officers to write for expired registration unless it’s in that state. Many officers do it anyway. When I was on NYPD didn’t allow it.

      ??? Expired registration is a big deal in Australia. You get your plates confiscated & car towed as well as a big fat fine, no matter what state you’re in.

    You probably know this already...But citing a 1967 Supreme Court decision, they said that he cannot be removed from his current post because law enforcement officials have the same constitutional rights as other citizens.
    Article from the LA Times. I have not found an actual cite for this case. Yet.

    He shows his car parked after the fact with everything done like that. Not during or right after the traffic stop, but later on when parked at home. And after he took the plates off and covered the vin number lol. Otherwise he would've been pulled over for more than registration.... #FauxSovCit 🤣🤣🤣

    But... the plate and registration and license aren't YOUR information. They're issued by the state. For people who love picking apart the meaning of words (albeit poorly), these folks really haven't considered the grammatical ramifications of something being issued.

    ORS 181A.125. Interference with personal and property rights of others: "No member of the state police shall in any way interfere with the rights or property of any person, except for the prevention of crime, or the capture or arrest of persons committing crimes." But driving isn't a right.
