The kakuno was my starter pen and I kept coming back to it even after different pen purchases. It is now just my everyday pen. It’s weighted just right for me, I’m not afraid to mess it up, it’s not fussy, and you can’t beat the Pilot nib on the Tomoe River paper in the Hobo. My other pens are just sitting on display. 😂
I always look forward to your videos! 🎉 in addition to your creativity, I really appreciate your vulnerability in sharing about your experience with chronic illness. Next year, I’ll be a bright & shiny, brand new advanced practice provider hoping to work in primary care. I would love to hear a little (within your boundaries, of course) about your experience with receiving the care and referrals that have been necessary for you, and how you could have been better supported by your medical team? I know these kinds of diagnoses can be a long, winding road, and I’d love some insight on how I could better advocate for my patients in the future ♥️ thanks for all you do!
oh yay! a new video from you! i always enjoy them so much! i just started using my weeks at work today & i guess it’s going to take a while to get into it & try out new stuff & see what works, but i’m really enjoying it thus far!
I'd love to hear more about your pets! Like their names, funny/quirky things about them, etc. Also that pink tombow is so pretty. I'm really liking the non-traditional colors in Christmas spreads this year
Right as you said Q&A my brain went right to childhood and then you brought it up! I would love to know a little about what kind of kid you were, how you liked to spend your time, and if you did any journaling, writing, or scrapbooking... things of that sort :) I love these videos!!
For the upcoming Q&A, I would love to know - how did you and your fiancé meet? How do you choose your Tombow brush pen color(s) for the week? How did you get into brush lettering? I think I’ve seen you with a pencil pouch and would love to know/see what you keep inside. What is your day job/are you studying? Thank you for another wonderful video! I now have these videos to look forward to as I start in my Hobonichi next year!

Great spread with clean lines! I've been using a Kakuno as well, and it does write very smoothly. Thanks!
