Hye.. my agent told me that i can apply under 186SC direct entry as i am mechanical engineer in india with 5 years experience and positive skill assessment but he says that i have to pay some amount for nomination and there will be no zoom interview with employer…. Can it be possible?? And how would I ensure that my job offer is valid- a genuine one and Im really nominated …..

08/2020: I started to work as a carpenter
10/2022: I got the certificate III in Carpentry (RPL)
10/2023: I will apply for Skill Assessment (for example)
-> So after I get the positive SA , will I be eligible to apply employer nomination and also applying for the 186 DE?
I am just worried about how many years of full time experience that I need after I get the Certificate III.

I have student subclass 500 visa and one mining company said they will give me sponsorship visa 186, but they said they will check my competency for 3-6 months, but I am still under student visa 500, and from July we are restricted to 48 hour fort night. Should I over commit on this or should I continue with my study?
I did my engineering from tier 1 university and it is accepted in Australia, and right now I m doing my masters engineering from Australian university.

Hi, I was nominated for 186DE and waiting for nomination approval. My current migration agent hesitates to apply for visa concurrently and advised me to wait for nomination approval. Its been 2 months now 😢

Here's where it gets tricky, what if you're already on a 482 sponsorship visa and switching company whilst being eligible for 186 visa? I think ideal to look for a company for 186 once you have a 482 sponsored job and you've been working there for a while. But, each to their own. All cases are unique.

this video is missing the point of this visa subclass. It's for experienced professionals and companies that can't find the solutions to their needs locally. Making the entire pitch focusing on people that want an "easy PR pathway" that will probably want to leave after getting the PR is at least disappointing
There’s was a time that this visa was so appealing to apply for during the pandemic but as time goes by to opening back again the requirements keeps changing and they were making it harder and harder. Won’t they just make one visa that allow all those students / any one whom stayed here during the pandemic that helps the business and economic of Australia 🇦🇺 and will continue to do so… 🙏🏼
