First time viewer - looking for a printer for my wife. Thanks for posting AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE your dialect. Cheers from the home of the back to back national champions! WOOF
I can't find these printers - ANYWHERE. And the prices they have been sold for are a lot more than they were when you posed this video.. exactly a year ago! Whoa so crazy
This printer is discontinued, do you have issues finding ink for the TS8320? I read the TS8322 is the newer version..do you know if that is correct? I really love this video and want the one you recommend
It hasn't even been that long and some of these printers are either discontinued, out of stock or higher in price. I am in shock that these videos are almost irrelevant and out of date so quickly. Great video though I am still going to have to continue my search for a color printer for my planner stickers.
I bought a Canon TS9521C a few weeks ago and love it so far. My Canon copier in my office has not given me a single problem in almost 20 years and I've had a Canon printer that lasted for years until I started having issues finding ink cartridges.
That is a KEY consideration for crafters! Being able to print out customized scrapbook paper and papers to use for masks and party hats... Another key consideration is SEPARATE ink tanks for all the colors. Most of us find that we have a particular color we use more frequently, and being able to not waste the other two or three colors of a cartridge is vital.
The TS9521C and the TS8320 have not been available for months. They are both out of Stock on most sites except those who have inflated the price. Could you do a review with printers that are actually available?
Sorry, but all of these printers were in stock and priced properly when we launched this video. We are hopeful they will be back in stock soon. These are the printers we recommend, we do not have any more to link for you.
Hi Rachel, I noticed in your video the printer you pointed to and suggested (in the middle) the model number on the printer is TS8120, but on the video screen you listed suggested printer model number TS8320. Thank you, Pam
Great printer video Rachel!! Thank you!! I’ve been trying to decide which one to get. I have an Epson printer that I have used for years. It’s pretty decent but I find myself buying ink for it more often and I don’t even use it that much.
I agree with you. I bought new set of cartridges and didn’t print anything except for print nozzle check and now it says my ink levels are low. So disappointed ☹️
Hello Rachel, thank you for the comparison. However, it is now 2023 and the price has tripled! Any suggestions for comparable printers? I need to buy one as of yesterday. I'm using it primarily for 110 lb. cardstock, but will eventually move into other creations. I am so confused about which printer will be cost effective yet able to print beautiful quality cards and print and cut creations.
I'm in the same boat! I can't believe the prices (Canada). It needs to be able to handle cardstock/sticker paper, but the family needs it also for DUPLEX printing, scanning. The refills have to be cheaper (less than $20/color) and it would be ideal to be able to continue printing with just black, even if one color is out. HELP!
My print and computer just went out 🤦🏻♀️ but they did last a very long time 10 years 👍🏼 Now we are looking into getting a nice clean quality printout’s at this point we are looking of going with Canon TS8320 Thank you for your time in making this video great job
Been looking for either of these printers and the reasonable priced ones are out of stock are they are over priced on some sites. I need a new printer so hopefully I will find one soon.
Yeah, the issue is Covid. Most of them were under $150 but with everything going on craft supplies and things like that have really went up unfortunately. Hopefully prices will go down!
The one we have on the table in the video is the TS8120 which is now discontinued, but the new version of it is the TS8320 which is the one we address in the video :)
I believe those are Epson brand and they are known for great image quality and as long as the specific model you are looking for can handle cardstock it will be fine! The ecotank printers do cost more to start with as they are set up with that NEW ecotank technology.
Are you able to share any details about the cardstock weight each printer will handle? I would like to be able to print and cut on 110# cardstock and my current printer jams on anything much more than 65#. Thx in advance for the info!!
110 lb cardstock will be tough for most printers as it is so very thick! I feel that is one reason Cricut only sells an 80lb cardstock. From what I have seen in buying printers over the last 30+ years of my life including for a school and a few offices I worked in, the specs for printers only incl a yes for cardstock or a no.

Rachel, Nice discussion on these printers. What was the weight of the card you were using? Looking for a printer that can handle #100. Also, do they have the ability to print on both sides? Thanks
I don't understand why ya'll would not really educate and tell people that they really only need to look for a printer that prints good quality graphics and that prints on cardstock (as the cardstock will allow for most every other material cricut would allow us to use for p/c). Specific printers are not necessarily available as of this past year because of demand of so many people buying them for virtual/home schooling, new home offices, and more crafters. So many brands out there are just fine also, as long as they have the 2 characteristics I mentioned. This past year when I had to replace my 6 year old Epson, I shopped 5 stores that has NOTHING in stock!
Hi Jill! We receive 100’s of questions across RUclips & emails each month asking for this video. This isn’t a video on how to print and cut, this is a direct print and cut comparison for people interested.

HUGE DIFFERENCE.. HAS ANYONE ELSE NOTICE THIS OR AM I CRAZY???
I am looking for a printer brand model that can print on 350 gsm (105~~120 lb) paper without any problems. ""inkjet""
Here are some printers you can choose from:
Epson Artisan 1430 inkjet printer.
Canon Pixma iX6820 wireless printer.
Canon PIXMA Pro100 inkjet printer.
HP Laserjet 1300 printer.
HP Photosmart D110A wireless printer.
HP Envy 114 Eallinone Printer - D411C.
Epson Workforce WF7620 inkjet printer.
OMG this is AMAZING
I wish they had ecotanks
Thank you so much! I have been looking for a good quality designated printer for my craft room. I’m definitely going to take a look.
You're so welcome, Carol! Thank you for watching!
Tanner should buy another so he can design it as the studio of his dream.
Haha yes!!
The ink tank system appears to be much better than the cartridge system ruclips.net/user/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 and a lot cheaper to run. The machine was easy to set up. A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.
I purchased the TS3322 however I cannot get it to connect to my wifi. 🤷🏼♀️ Any ideas, tips or suggestions? Thanks so much. P.S. I love that these are all white! Who wants a big black beast in their craft room? Not me!🙋🏼♀️
Where can I purchase the TS8320 printer? I be looked on Amazon and it’s priced between $700 - $935……FAR CRY from $150.
You can order it here: bit.ly/3nV5ctN
Not for $150 !!!!!!!!
The prices have gone up a lot :/ the $40 printer is now $150 😭
I know it's been a couple of years, but the 8320 is $700!
This has been very helpful. Now to find out which has borderless printing and page size limitations. 😄
Glad it was helpful!
The most expensive printer is now $299.
Don't see a printer under 100.00 dollars
Sorry, but all of these printers were in stock and priced properly when we launched this video. We are hopeful they will be back in stock soon. These are the printers we recommend, we do not have any more to link for you.
